Brief introduction of Yichang

Yichang was called Yiling in ancient times, named after "water is here, the mountain is here, and the mausoleum is here". It was renamed "Yichang" in Qing Dynasty, which is the hometown of famous historical figures such as Qu Yuan, Lei Zu, Wang Zhaojun and Yang Shoujing.

Yichang is the starting point and the location of the Three Gorges Project.
