The Life of the Characters in Wang Zizhou's Works

People's artist, national chicken painter, first-class artist, model representative of China Communist Youth League, model of caring and public welfare in Anhui Province ... These are all "titles" of Wang Zizhou, but when he introduces himself, he always says, "I am an art teacher at Zizhou Hope Primary School in Yueshan Village, Huangshan, Anhui Province, and the oldest teaching teacher in China." Since 2002, Wang Zizhou has helped 206 poor primary school students, 100 poor college students and 70 orphans in Anhui, Gansu and Shaanxi with a paintbrush, and built three Zizhou Hope Primary Schools.

He is a simple and honest middle-aged man. If you put him in a crowd, he will never attract attention. Wearing a white shirt and black trousers, he looks more like a migrant worker than a painter. At noon on July 8th, the sun was blazing in Beijing, and Wang Zizhou had just visited the Forbidden City with eight children and four teachers from Zizhou Hope Primary School. On this day, he got up at 3 am, took his children to Tiananmen Square to watch the flag raising, and visited the flag class and Chairman Mao Memorial Hall. Constant fatigue made him look a little tired among the lively children.

Zizhou Hope Primary School in Yueshan Village is one of the three hope primary schools aided by Wang Zizhou. Besides donating money, he also teaches in this primary school. As soon as the summer vacation this year, he fulfilled his promise and took eight children with excellent academic performance to the capital of the motherland. During the seven days that the child came to Beijing, he didn't go home once. Although his home is only half an hour's drive from the hotel, he said that he must wait for his children to board the train back before he can go home safely. He has a responsibility to these children.

Wang Zizhou began to help students in 2002. As a famous young painter, in eight years, he spent two-thirds of his annual income from selling paintings to help students. With a passion, he helped 206 poor primary school students, 100 poor college students and 70 orphans in Anhui, Gansu, Shaanxi and other places, and built three Zizhou Hope Primary Schools.

Wang Zizhou said frankly that he did charity partly because of gratitude and partly because of redemption.

He was born in Taihe County, Huaibei Plain, and his family was poor. When he was five months old, he was very ill. His family thought he was dead, so they put him in a basket and threw him on the messy grave. It was his aunt who heard his faint cry and kept him alive. At the age of 7, he was infected with pneumonia due to a cold, and his persistent high fever burned the eardrum, resulting in deafness in his left ear. /kloc-When he was 0/2 years old, a strange disease made him almost blind.

Although Wang Zizhou was ill-fated, he always got help from good people. A folk painter who painted New Year pictures discovered the poor boy's talent and opened the door to painting for him. The owner of the village canteen left him a cigarette case package as a practice drawing paper; The old painter accepted him as a disciple, taught him Chinese painting for free and introduced him into the world of Chinese painting.

1998, just as he had just gained a foothold in Beijing through painting, misfortune came again. When he hung a picture on the ladder, the ladder suddenly slipped, fell from the air, lost consciousness and was paralyzed in bed for nearly five years. He wanted to die during this time, but under the care of his relatives and friends, he found hope again and stood up again. "At that time, I was lying in bed, watching" Reading while Lying "written by Chencun, telling myself that my life was not my own, but was given by countless good people. I want to atone, and I can't be ashamed of my life and friends. "

In 2002, Wang Zizhou held his first solo exhibition after his rehabilitation in Anhui. In addition to being recognized by the painting and calligraphy circles, he also earned the first bucket of gold in his life-more than 60,000 yuan in painting income. After careful consideration, Wang Zizhou used the money to set up the first fund named after the painter in China, namely "Anhui Hope Project Zizhou Scholarship Fund", and all the income of 66,600 yuan was donated by him as the start-up capital. In the second year of Huangshan Tourism Festival, Wang Zizhou held his second painting and calligraphy exhibition in Huangshan Gymnasium. In order to save money, he simply lives in the gym. When he is hungry, he is just a bag of instant noodles. When you are sleepy, just lie down on the sponge mat in the gym for a while. After the calligraphy and painting exhibition, in addition to maintaining his daily basic expenses, the rest of his income was remitted to the "Hope Project Zizhou Scholarship Fund" again.

Wang Zizhou jokingly called himself a "young bright family". He always creates 60 paintings and calligraphy every year. He said that 60 paintings are his creative limit for one year, just enough for an art exhibition. Then he sold all the paintings, took out 2/3 of the proceeds from selling paintings and filled them into the student aid fund, leaving 1/3 as a year's expenditure. In the past two years, Wang Zizhou's fame and income have increased, but the living conditions at home have remained unchanged. His mother said helplessly, what others got back from painting was money, and what Zizhou got back from painting was proof of donation.

In the past eight years, Wang Zizhou donated165438+100000 yuan to Project Hope through its own fund.

Wang Zizhou has two characteristics in doing public welfare: first, emergency rescue; Second, do what you can.

In 2008, the Beijing Olympic Games will be held soon. As a national expert in chicken painting, Wang Zizhou created a century-old auspicious picture for the International Olympic Committee. In 2008, the chicken expressions were different and lifelike. To this end, BOCOG specially invited Samaranch to accept donations on behalf of the International Olympic Committee, and permanently displayed this picture scroll in ioc headquarters. Shortly before the donation ceremony, a 5. 12 Wenchuan earthquake occurred. "Young" Wang Zizhou couldn't sit still. He wants to donate money to the disaster area, but he has no cash on hand and wants to auction his paintings, but the cycle is too long. He immediately decided to give up the opportunity to permanently show the Olympic scroll "Hundred Years Lucky Map" to the International Olympic Committee and hand it over to china charity federation for auction. All the proceeds were donated to compatriots in the earthquake zone. When this work was sent to the auction house, it was valued at 7.6 million yuan.

For many years, Wang Zizhou's fund has been maintained by himself. In addition to supporting more than 300 children to go to school, his fund can barely maintain the operation of three hope primary schools. Over the years, he reluctantly refused many people's requests to borrow money for help, and also offended many people.

"I know there are still many people who need help, but I can only concentrate on helping students now." Wang Zizhou believes that with the maturity and improvement of the value of his paintings, there will be more and more money in the fund, and he can help more people.

In September 2009, 48-year-old Wang Zizhou signed up to teach through the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League. He went to his primary school, Zizhou Hope Primary School in Yueshan Village, Yuan Xian Town, Huangshan City, Anhui Province, as an art teacher. He became the oldest volunteer and will teach in the primary school he funded for three years.

In the past, Wang Zizhou had never seen the children he sponsored and left no contact information. He was born in a poor family, and he knew that every child in a poor family would have a shadow. He doesn't want them to feel inferior. He wants them to accept help without any pressure.

But now he will not only meet the children, but also live with them for three years. The reason is simple and complicated, the needs of children. Before teaching in Wang Zizhou, there were no art teachers and no art-related courses. He wants to explore and hopes that art classes can be offered in primary schools. How to leave the teaching teacher behind? How to attract high quality volunteers to teach? Wang Zizhou is willing to practice in person and be a "white mouse". He also hopes that through his own behavior, more people will participate in the teaching.

His friend, the famous actor Tian Liang, was moved by his behavior and went to visit him specially. He also brought nearly 10,000 yuan of school supplies to the students and served as the honorary principal of the primary school. Wang Zizhou said it was a success.

At present, Wang Zizhou is still blind in one eye and hearing impaired in one ear. He must take medicine and injections to control the edema in his legs. Diseases such as lumbar disc herniation and rheumatoid arthritis have not been spared. However, he can still be seen in rural classrooms and children on the edge of fields.
