What are the travel strategies and precautions in Northwest China?
The following is a list of daily necessities and some precautions I went to the northwest last time. I hope it will help you: ID card, student ID card, military officer ID card, etc. Moisturizing: moisturizing lotion, mask, lip balm, hand cream, hydrating spray, hydrating sleep mask (highly recommended). The climate there is dry, and friends who have never been to the north should remember to moisturize! Sun protection: Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses and shawl are all for sun protection and handsome! Cash: prepare a small amount of cash. Although convenient payment is basically popularized in northwest China, there are also some small places that need it. Coat: coats worn in February and August (2-3 pieces). There is a great temperature difference between morning and evening in northwest China. Remember to keep warm. Clothes: Take some long sleeves and short sleeves, and just prepare some pants (ps: If you want to take good-looking photos in salt lakes and deserts, you must bring a red skirt. Shoes: You can bring a pair of white shoes and a pair of sports shoes, so that you can take pictures and exercise correctly. Socks: Prepare 7-8 pairs. When walking outside, socks are really easy to get dirty by wind and sand. Because they are too lazy to wash, they are basically thrown one by one. Sandals or shoe covers: Salt lake and desert are acceptable. These two places can be rented, but the effect is not good if you take pictures. Moreover, the shoe covers rented in Salt Lake are not waterproof. I suggest you buy a beautiful waterproof shoe cover online, which can also be used in the desert. If not, you can walk barefoot if you don't want to wear it in the desert, but when you go back, your shoes are full of sand. Drugs: Although altitude sickness is rare in northwest China, in order to prevent it, Rhodiola oral liquid (to be taken one week in advance), American ginseng buccal tablets, cold medicine, band-aid and mask should be prepared. Diet: As most of the travel time is on the road, it is recommended to prepare some dry food and fruit, but try to drink less water. It is inconvenient for girls to go to the toilet. About car rental: We are looking for a small car rental company in Zhu Fei, which is not recommended. S is also a big platform that is guaranteed in all aspects. If you take the 3 18 Sichuan-Tibet line from Chengdu to Lhasa, besides the car rental fee, the fares in other places are also very high. If 1w drives back to Chengdu from Lhasa, take 3 18 instead, which is the same as the return fare. American epidemic prevention policy in Tibet: for provinces without local cases, people entering Tibet need a nucleic acid test report within 72 hours; In the provinces with confirmed cases in green code, the personnel entering Tibet need to report the nucleic acid test within 48 hours; Personnel in high-risk areas with green codes are temporarily prohibited from entering Tibet. At present, Tibet is a low-risk area, and they will not be isolated when they go back! Mode of transportation into Tibet: plane: common airports in Tibet: there are many high-altitude flights at Lhasa Gongga Airport and few low-altitude flights at Linzhi Milin Airport. Most provincial capital cities have direct flights to Lhasa, among which Chengdu, Chongqing and Xi 'an have more direct flights. When entering Tibet, you can choose the window on the left to avoid the wing. When the weather is fine, you can see Nange Bawa Mountain. Train: S is easier to adapt to the anti-Tibet way. Qinghai-Tibet Railway takes a train from Xining to Lhasa. After Golmud Station, the most beautiful scenery crosses Kunlun Mountain and enters Hoh Xil Nature Reserve. Go to Golmud only during the day. Self-driving: 3 18 Sichuan-Tibet line, Yunnan-Tibet line, Qinghai-Tibet line and Xinjiang-Tibet line. Most people choose the first two. Be careful: Don't buy dried yak meat on the roadside, most of them are from fake beef! When buying souvenirs, you must bargain. The water content is super high! When eating in a restaurant, you should go to a restaurant with obvious signs to avoid being slaughtered after eating. Don't go to the plateau after a cold, pulmonary edema will be very troublesome. Don't take a bath two days before you arrive in the western Sichuan Plateau in the early Tang Dynasty, which is likely to cause high reaction! Beware of low-priced groups! Go to designated places to eat, go to the toilet, buy local products, etc. It may cost more. The above are some questions and precautions that I selected from the previous Great Northwest Circle. Of course, this is not comprehensive enough. If you need anything, please leave me a message, try to solve your doubts and avoid unnecessary problems.
