Mao shan Gan Yuan Guan

Maoshan Gan Yuan Temple is located in Yugang Peak, Qinglong Mountain, Jintan District, at the eastern foot of Maoshan Mountain, surrounded by mountains and bamboos. It is one of the "three palaces and five scenic spots" of Maoshan Taoism, which belongs to Maoshan Tourism Resort in Jintan City and is the holy land of mainstream Taoism in the world.

In the Qin Dynasty, Li Ming was an alchemist here, which was named after an alchemist in ancient times. During the Southern Dynasties, this "fish cave room" in Liang Prison was used to trace Xuanzhou; During the Tianbao period of the Tang Dynasty (742-756), Li lived here and built five pavilions, namely: Qizhen Pavilion, Pavilion, Pavilion, Moral Pavilion, Yingen Pavilion and Chongwang Pavilion. In the second year of Xiangfu in Song Dynasty (1009), Mr. Guan Miao built a nine-story altar here. Song Renzong Tiansheng three years (1025), was given the name "Xuji Temple" and later renamed "Gan Yuan Temple". 1993165438+10, which opened in October, is the only Kundao hospital in Jiangsu province.

Since its establishment in 1995, Gan Yuan Guankun Daoxian Orchestra has been invited to visit China and foreign countries for dozens of times, participated in and hosted many large-scale Buddhist and Taoist performances, and became one of the famous Taoist teams in China. The 10th Taoist Concert, Jiangnan Maoshan Gan Yuan View and Quanzhen Daoism International Seminar were successfully held one after another, and Gan Yuan Volunteer Group was established, charity hall was established, Maoshan Academy was restored, and human body Taoism classes were held free of charge.
