Huanggang, a prefecture-level city in Hubei Province, is located in the eastern part of Hubei Province, at the southern foot of the Dabie Mountains, on the north bank of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, in the middle section of the Beijing-Kowloon Railway, gradually sloping from north to south, and the northeastern border with Henan and Anhui is the Dabie Mountains.
