According to the press release issued by the World Tourism Organization, a total of 174 villages around the world participated in this selection, and 44 villages from 32 countries stood out and were selected as "the best tourist villages in the world". Yucun, located in Anji County, Zhejiang Province, is surrounded by mountains on three sides. In recent years, Yucun has started the transformation from "quarrying economy" to "ecological economy", emphasizing the management and protection of the environment, transforming this village that once caused environmental pollution due to mining into one of the most livable villages in China, and practicing the concept that "clear water and green hills are priceless assets".
Xidi Village, located at the southern foot of Huangshan Mountain in Anhui Province, was founded in the Northern Song Dynasty. The village buildings are simple and beautiful, and the layout is exquisite.
