Yunti Street in the ancient town is the starting point of the Sichuan-Yanji-Chu-Bayan Ancient Road and is the core building complex of Xituo Ancient Town. Its streets are contrary to the layout of streets in towns along the Yangtze River that are parallel to the Yangtze River. Instead, they are perpendicular to the Yangtze River and run along the ridge. From the bank of the Yangtze River to the top of the mountain.

Looking at Yunti Street across the river on a sunny day, the stone layers are stacked on top of each other, and the stone slabs are dazzling and look like ladders, rising straight into the sky, hence the name "Yunti Street". Yunti Street is about 1.9 kilometers long, with a total of 113 stone steps and 1,124 stone steps. On both sides of Yunti Street there are mainly cultural relics and historic sites such as Xiayandian, Yuwang Palace, Yongcheng Store, South Longyan Bridge, North Longyan Bridge, Minting Pavilion, Wantian Palace, Ziyun Palace, Nancheng Temple, and Zhangfei Temple.
