Where is the Mid-Autumn Festival in Xi 'an interesting?
First: Guangren Temple, located in the northwest corner of Xi 'an City Wall, was built by Kangxi himself to provide a resting place for Tibetans and Tibetan lamas who entered Beijing. It has a history of more than 300 years. Guangren Temple is the only Tibetan Buddhist temple in Shaanxi, and the Green Tara enshrined in it is even more rare.
From the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China, and then from the Republic of China to New China, Guangren Temple was also destroyed many times. Under the leadership of Guru Renqin, Guangren Temple has been renovated many times, and believers often come here, resolutely becoming a symbol of national unity.
Second: Yongxingfang, located at Zhongshan Gate of the city wall, is the second largest gathering place for food and snacks in Xi besides Huimin Street. Speaking of Xi 'an's delicious food and snacks, I believe many people are already salivating. Delicious biangbiang noodles, refreshing cold rice noodles and hot beef and mutton paomo all think that the most complete Xi 'an cuisine can only be found in Huimin Street.
Yongxing Square is not as big as Huimin Street, but there are thousands of delicious snacks from all over Shaanxi. Locals say they go to Huimin Street to eat Xi 'an food and Yongxing Square to eat Shaanxi food.
Third, Zhang Xueliang Mansion, located at No.66 Jianguo Road, is the place where General Zhang Xueliang once lived. When many Xi people pass Jianguo Road, they will find three European-style buildings on the east side of the road particularly dazzling. Even if you don't like history any more, you must know a thing or two about 1936 "Xi incident" that shocked China and foreign countries. This is the place where General Zhang Xueliang lived at that time and where the Xi Incident was peacefully resolved.
The Xi incident had a great impact on the history of this city and even China, so the former residence of Zhang Xueliang is worth visiting by everyone in China.
