When is the best time to visit the Buliuhe River?

In the north of Dashiwei Tiankeng Group in leye county, near Nongliutun, Moli Township, Leye County, Guangxi, 5 1 km away from the county seat, there is a secluded place-Buliuhe River. Legend has it that Buliu River is Jiuquan flowing down from a distant mountain, because Buliu River means spring in Zhuang language and willow means wine.

Buliuhe River originates from Cenwanglaoshan, tianlin county, flows through lingyun county and Tiane County, leye county, and joins Hongshui River in Longtan Reservoir Area, with a total length of 132km, belonging to a tropical rainforest area. Also known as Buliuhe Grand Canyon, it is a part of Dashiwei Tiankeng Group. The underground rivers under the tiankeng group gather here to form a soothing surface river.

Down the river by bamboo raft, we can see steep cliffs and dense forests on both sides of the river, with a forest coverage rate of more than 90%. The trees are intertwined and big vines hang from them, which are unique to tropical rainforests such as strangling roots and flowering old stems, and there are many kinds of plants. Buliu River is covered with trees all the year round, with wild monkeys in groups, fish shuttling and birds contending. It is called the kingdom of plants, the paradise of birds, the nickname of paradise trip, and the reputation of being the first drifter in South China.

On the Buliu River, there is a natural stone arch bridge formed by the collapse of three mountains, which is called Xianren Bridge by the locals and is located in the lower reaches of the drifting river. Xianren Bridge straddles the river bank like a dragon. It is a rare natural stone arch bridge, with a height of 145 m, a thickness of 78 m, an arch hole height of 67 m and a span of 177 m. Known by experts as the largest and most beautiful natural water bridge in the world, it has extremely high ornamental value.

The mountains on both sides of the Buliu River overlap, and the peaks compete for each other. Peak elevation1100-1200m, total length of drifting reach 15.3km, total drop of 26.8m, average hydraulic gradient 1.8 and riverbed elevation of 4 13-. There are 12 big beach, 10 turbulent section and 14 bend in the drifting reach. The floodplain is mainly composed of sandstone, and there are many reefs in the river bed. There are also dry tree caves, fish caves (also called cold spring caves) and other caves on the shore. These scenic spots set each other off with the drifting river, and the beautiful scenery is superimposed, which makes people linger.
