Lianhua Mountain Forest Park Scenic Area is located in Shihu Village, Yantongshan Town, panshi city, 7 kilometers away from Guanmadong Scenic Area. Historically, it was still a virgin forest until the end of the Ming Dynasty. In the early Qing dynasty, it was turned into a paddock and closed for more than 200 years. The vast forest provides a place for many animals to live and reproduce, and it is the home of all kinds of birds and animals. There are 259 species of animals listed in the list of protected wild animals in Jilin Province.

Lianhua Mountain Ski Resort is located in Forest Park, covering an area of 25 square kilometers. It was completed and opened on February 26th, 2002. It belongs to continental monsoon climate, and the wind speed is very small in winter because of barriers. The snow-covered period is from 165438+ 10 to early May of the following year, and the snow thickness can reach 0.5m to1.5m. The ski resort is planned and designed by Exxon Hill Company of Canada, which once presided over the design of Vancouver Olympic Ski Resort. The first phase of the project has eight snow trails, a 200-meter-long snow circle and six alpine ski trails. The total length 1000 meters, and the slope is between 5 degrees and 35 degrees. There are 4 traction ropeways, 1 alpine chair ropeway. In 2003, the national "Volkswagen Cup" alpine skiing competition was successfully held here.
