U.S. visa application process:

Step 1: Apply for a passport

To apply for a passport, you need to hold your household registration card, ID card, and passport application form (which has Photos, opinions of the employer), after all the materials are submitted, it will take about ten working days to receive it. The cost of production is 200 yuan. There are many specific regulations. You should consult the Exit-Entry Administration Office of the local public security bureau. Students with collective household registration should also consult the relevant departments of the school for specific details.

Step 2: Determine the visa location

There are five visa locations nationwide (mainland): Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Chengdu, and Shenyang.

Step 5: Prepare materials

The types of U.S. visas are different, and the materials are naturally different. Generally speaking, your passport, completed DS form, and visa fee receipt. Note that some things cannot be brought in, including electronic products (such as mobile phones, USB flash drives, CDs), metal products (such as scissors), school bags, luggage, etc. If you must bring it with you, you can deposit it at the paid depository outside the embassy when you apply for the visa.
