Does Changting Ancient City need tickets?
Changting ancient city is not as prosperous as Phoenix, but Changting is Changting, which has the long-lost simplicity of Fenghuang ancient city.
Phoenix is prosperous and Changting is simple. It is an ancient city bordering Fujian and Jiangxi. Tingjiang River flows through here, and a river is accompanied by a city, which is picturesque.
The bustling retreat left a strong historical mark. Longtingjiang River passes through the city, and the houses on both sides of the strait smoke. The ancient city wall in the Tang and Song Dynasties still stands by the river, witnessing the ups and downs of the ancient city shuttling through the streets and alleys, stepping on the polished bluestone board, and all the antique flavors are well preserved. Small shops on both sides of the street, with red lanterns hanging high, may have unexpected surprises when you enter the store. Not only that, painters, hairdressers, carpenters ... craftsmen from all walks of life have jumped into the eye, winding streets and alleys, vicissitudes of old towers and walls?
Besides antique streets, there must be Wushi Lane.
Moss, mottled walls and wet cobblestone paths, from one alley to another, make people feel like they are in the classical realm of Tang, Song, Ming and Qing Dynasties.
There are many historical sites scattered in this small street. Walking all the way and stopping all the way, I unconsciously gained full memories.
Visiting Diantou Street, an ancient street in Ming and Qing Dynasties, is the most famous block in Changting, Fujian. In Hakka dialect, the store head street means the best market. Together with Fuzhou Sanfang Qixiang, Quanzhou Zhongshan Road and Zhangzhou Historic District, it was selected as "China Historic and Cultural District".
Diantou Street is located in the most densely populated urban area of Changting. Diantou Street is a typical handicraft street in Ming and Qing Dynasties. The profound cultural connotation of Diantou Street is the most vivid picture showing the long history of Tingzhou, the capital of Hakka.
The history of Diantou Street can be traced back to the Tang Dynasty. In the Tang Dynasty, there was a small-scale sporadic exchange of goods outside the south gate of the old city. In the Northern Song Dynasty, Diantou City was established here, which really flourished in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
Diantou Street is 7 kilometers away from Changting South Station, with convenient transportation.
Look at Tingzhou Ancient City Wall. Tingzhou Ancient City Wall is located in Tingzhou Town, Changting County. There is a thousand-year-old city wall, which was built in the fourth year of the Tang Dynasty. The ancient wall of Tingzhou is more than 5000 meters long and has 12 gates. At present, there are five Tang and Song Sanyuange (Guangchumen) and Chaotianmen. In the Ming Dynasty, Wutongmen, Huijimen and Baozhumen were connected in series with Chaotianmen, Wutongmen and Huijimen, with a total length of about 2,600 meters, which has become a witness to Changting's long history.
Starting from Changting South Station, take Changting No.3 and No.5, and walk for a while to see the ancient city wall.
