I finished reading Young Taiwan Province Province, and behind the cover was The Wandering Guide. The catalogue of this book has a place name for every article.

"Gigi" is what I am most familiar with. On our street, there is a "Jiji Town" 500 meters west, which is the earliest "24-hour" restaurant in the area. It's been driving for almost 20 years. On one wall of that restaurant, there is a picture of a railway station with the word "Jiji" written on it. I went to eat wonton with vegetables and meat many times and drank soybean milk many times, only to know that Jiji is a small town in the west of Nantou, Taiwan Province Province, which is famous for its railway sightseeing and the epicenter of the "92 1 earthquake".

In addition to "Jiji", there are nearly 30 places that say "Young Taiwan Province Province", and the only places I am familiar with are "Jiufen" and "Lugang".

I know Jiufen because I traveled to Taiwan Province a few years ago, and Jiufen is one of my trips. The tour guide explained the origin of the place name, saying that because there were only nine families in the early town, every time people went to the market to buy things, they were usually entrusted to bring nine copies, one for each family, hence the name. This place name also makes tourists feel warm and smells like fireworks.

Walking into a narrow alley, there are shops selling gifts and special products of Taiwan Province Province on both sides, as well as cafes, taro shops and so on, which will not make people feel any different from the business pattern of Lijiang, Wuzhen, Zhouzhuang and other ancient towns in China. If there is, it is "culture". Wu Nianzhen is known as "the best storyteller in Taiwan Province". He was born in Jiufen, and many articles mentioned his hometown. In the young province of Taiwan Province, Jiang Xun described this small town, which was prosperous due to gold panning and declined due to the exhaustion of gold resources. The attached illustration is a poster of "Love in the Dust" directed by Hou Xiaoxian. The story tells the story of Wu Nianzhen's childhood.

"The stairs set up by stones form a long and steep roadway in the dormitory, winding on the hillside."

"A stone house is built around a mountain road, forming a unique mountain city in the northeast corner of the island."

Jiang Xun's "Nine Boys" is short, round-headed, simple in smile and full of childlike innocence. I often take off my shoes and socks and run on the stone steps. "

"It seems that some memories of past lives are calling me."

A woman is wearing a cheongsam with small white flowers on a pink background, and her face is white with powder. ...

After reading this, I remembered that as a tourist, I once stood under a huge billboard in Jiufen, waiting for the tourist bus. Is that where the woman is standing? Who is she waiting for in outdated clothes? Waiting for a teenager?

I know "Lugang" is because of Tayu Lo's songs. At this time, I coded the background music of this passage and chose "Lugang Town". Because of well-known reasons, including The Barrier of the Straits, most of our generation's understanding of Taiwan Province Province began with campus songs.

Jiang Xun, born in 1947, is a famous painter, poet and writer in Taiwan Province. Graduated from the History Department and Art College of "Chinese Culture University" in Taipei, and studied in France. His Dream of Red Mansions was well received by many people. Young Taiwan Province Province is not a travelogue, but a prose, a novel, which cannot be classified into any genre. It records his "lingering memories of his youth." Few people here are intellectuals. They live in riffraff in every corner of the island, including Chiayi Yuemei, Hong Kong, Yunlin Gukeng, Taitung Wang Nan, Nantou Jiji, Kaohsiung Tommy, Ziguan, Hualien Liao Yan ... "

Through these places, Jiang Xun laid the heart of his youth. There is sound, smell, shape, color, light and shadow between the lines, childhood, homesickness and small town, which is the mental process of juvenile growth. Because of the change of time and space, it has a unique aesthetic feeling.

Young Taiwan Province Province started writing from 1999, and the article was published in the joint literature, with a pause of six years. Jiang Xun wrote in the preface: "We set out for a strange place name, a place we have never heard of, put on our backpacks, take a bus casually and shake it to a place we have never been to."

In this book, I like the part after the author rewrote Young Taiwan Province Province in 2007. For example, in Young Toyama, an IT elite who drives a mini Cooper, wears an Armani shirt, holds a Prada mobile phone and smells cologne, carries a young backpacker and wants to wander just for the name Toyama. Finally, he called: "I woke you up! When you come to Taiwan Province Province for your holiday, I will take you to a place called Fengshan, which is more than 700 meters above sea level. There are many waterfalls, and the stream is full of huge rocks. " Fengshan's introduction was said by the boy who hitchhiked on the road. The man who quarreled with him on the phone is probably a girl he cares about very much, right?

Jiang Xun was 60 years old when he continued to write Juvenile Taiwan Province. Once again, he "often quietly left those noisy voices, took up his backpack and shook it to a quiet town or village ..." Like a teenager of 16 years old, he wandered on an isolated island and talked to himself in loneliness, so he had an article we saw that was either warm, ignorant, helpless or torn.

When reading these words, you may really have an impulse-"When this book is closed, you can put on your backpack and get ready to go." Find the footprints of those teenagers and take a walk in the place written in the book or every homesickness that belongs to our own memory, so as to put our hearts of teenagers or girls.
