Qi. Today, a group of us made a special trip to visit here.

I have long heard about the majesty and splendor of Qin Shihuang’s Terracotta Warriors and Horses, but it is still difficult to appreciate this breathtaking magnificence without visiting them in person. As soon as we entered the gate, we hurried to Pit No. 1. It is said that Pit No. 1 contains the largest number of terracotta warriors and horses, and it is here that the terracotta warriors and horses of Qin Shihuang were excavated.

As soon as I stepped into Pit No. 1, I was stunned: in front of me was a large rectangular pit one kilometer long and half a kilometer wide. The four sides of the pit were surrounded by fences. The other side of the fence It is a two-meter-wide path for tourists to visit. I raised my eyes and looked up. It was like a giant vegetable greenhouse. The roof seemed to be woven with strips of steel bars, and it was also covered with scarlet steel plates. There were nearly ten iron frames similar to those used for construction. The roof is divided into 10 pieces, each piece has a rectangular hole that can let in sunlight. Warm sunlight slants in, illuminating the terracotta warriors and horses at the bottom of the pit.

The Terracotta Warriors and Horses are worthy of being the eighth wonder of the world. Directly in front of me were three rows of mighty "soldiers" neatly arranged. There were about twenty or thirty soldiers in each row, with different expressions. They were all facing forward, as if they were clearing the way for the army behind. Behind them were rows of trenches that were as high as a person's height. There were a few soldiers standing scattered between the trenches, also facing the front. Directly in front of them and a little to the right, there was a sign that read "Well Drilling Location".

The first terracotta warriors and horses were excavated from here
