What is the retirement life of operating buses stipulated in the new regulations?

According to Article 2 of the Notice on Adjusting Certain Provisions of Automobile Scrapping Standards (Guo Yuan [2000]1202), "The service life of more than 9 tourist buses and non-operating buses reaches 10 years", and Article 3 "If the above-mentioned vehicles need to be used after reaching the scrapping life, they must be strictly inspected in accordance with the national regulations on motor vehicle safety and pollutant discharge, and the service life can be extended after passing the inspection.

However, the longest service life of tourist buses and non-operating buses with more than 9 seats cannot exceed 10 years. The mandatory retirement period of tourist buses is 10 year, and those that pass the inspection can be extended to 10 year.

Article 5 The service life of various types of motor vehicles is as follows:

(10) Full trailers and dangerous goods transport semi-trailers are used 10 years, container semi-trailers are used for 20 years, and other semi-trailers are used 15 years;

(eleven) motorcycle use 12 years, other motorcycles use 13 years.
