The tourist attractions in Shuozhou are widely distributed and numerous. But from my personal experience in Shuozhou several times, there are several places in Shuozhou that must be visited, such as Chongfu Temple, Yingxian Wooden Pagoda, Shahukou, Shuozhou Ancient City, Sanggan River in Yin Shan and Huairen Golden Beach.

Shuozhou, located in the northwest of Shanxi Province, China, is between east longitude1153 ~1334, and north latitude is 3905~40 17. It is located in the upper reaches of Sanggan River, bordering Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the northwest, Yanmenguan in the south and Datong in the north.

It is a provincial-level city approved by the State Council, 1989. Total area 10700 km2, total population 176438+0000.

Sagata is located in the Buddhist temple in the northwest of Yingxian County, Shuozhou City, Shanxi Province, commonly known as Yingxian Wooden Pagoda.

It was built in the second year of Qing Ning in Liao Dynasty, and it took Jin Mingchang six years to complete the renovation. It is the tallest and oldest existing wooden tower building in China, a national key cultural relic protection unit and a national AAAA-level scenic spot.

Together with the Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy and the Eiffel Tower in Paris, it is called "the three largest towers in the world". In 20 16, Sagata was recognized as the tallest wooden pagoda in the world by Guinness World Records.

The wall is square in plane, with a length of 1 100 m from north to south and a width of 1050 m from east to west. It is the earliest existing ancient city wall in our province.

Sanggan River is the upper reaches of Yongding River and an important tributary of Haihe River. It is located in the northwest of Hebei Province and the south bend of Shuocheng District, Shuozhou City, northern Shanxi Province.

According to legend, every year when the mulberries mature, the river will dry up, hence the name.

The source is Ziyuan River and Huihe River in Shanxi, which meet near Shuozhou and are called Sanggan River.

Zhuguantun in Huailai County, Hebei Province joins Yanghe River and enters Guanting Reservoir. It has a total length of 506 kilometers and a drainage area of 23,900 square kilometers. The main tributaries are Liuhu River, Yu He River and Hunhe River.
