Jinggangshan is located at the junction of Jiangxi Province and Hunan Province, 121 kilometers (by highway) from Ji'an City in Jiangxi Province, and 110 kilometers (by highway) from the Jinggangshan Railway Station (Taihe County) of the Beijing-Kowloon Railway. Under normal circumstances, when going to Jinggangshan, you always go through Ji'an.

Civil flights can reach Ganzhou City, which is 180 kilometers away from Ciping. Charter flights can reach Taihe Airport, which is 80 kilometers away from Ciping. It can also reach Changsha Airport. Take a bus from Changsha to Ji'an.

By rail, you can take the Beijing-Kowloon Line to Ji'an and then transfer to a bus, which will take you to Jinggangshan City (Ciping) in 2 hours. If you have time, you can stay in Ji'an for a day.
