In 2004, according to the development orientation of the national "red tourism" scenic spot, hua county declared the "red tourism" construction project of Hua Wei Uprising to the Provincial Planning Commission and the National Development and Reform Commission in time. At the beginning of 2006, the Hua Wei Uprising Red Tourism Project was approved by the provincial government and reported to the National Development and Reform Commission for inclusion in the 11th Five-Year Plan. On May 25th, the former site of Hua Wei Uprising was announced by the State Council as a national key cultural relics protection unit. Now, the Hua Wei Uprising Memorial Hall is in the stage of development and construction. In order to welcome the 80th anniversary celebration next year, the hua county County Party Committee and the government invested huge sums of money to build the Hua Wei Uprising Memorial Hall, and the tower and the museum are integrated. Next year, the Hua Wei Uprising will celebrate its 80th anniversary with a new look.

At present, Hua Wei Uprising Memorial Hall has become a patriotic education base for major primary and secondary schools and resident troops in Xi and eastern Shaanxi. Especially after the TV series "Wei Hua Uprising" was broadcast on CCTV and Shaanxi TV, the number of people visiting and studying increased day by day. Since its establishment 20 years ago, it has received 20 million people from leading cadres, workers, farmers, students, PLA soldiers and experts and scholars at home and abroad. It has become a patriotic education base for more than 20 universities, primary and secondary schools and resident troops in Xi 'an and eastern Shaanxi, and is the largest red tourist destination east of Guanzhong. Patriotism education in Hua Wei Uprising has become a great motive force to promote the construction of two civilizations and build a harmonious society.
