To be a tour guide in the United States, you need to meet the following requirements:

Obtain a foreign language tour guide certificate. The foreign language tour guide certificate is divided into two parts: written test and oral test. The written test content is all in Chinese, and the oral test part is in the language of the corresponding country. If you haven't taken the foreign language tour guide certificate, I suggest you sign up for the corresponding training class.

Obtain the corresponding grade certificate issued by the national license issuing agency or the internationally certified certificate of proficiency test in the corresponding language of the destination country (region). To go to America, you should have a TOEFL certificate and take the TOEFL test.

According to national regulations, you still need experience. Meet one of the following conditions: (1) More than two years of travel agency business experience; (2) More than two years of travel agency management experience; (3) More than two years tour guide experience.

2016165438+10.7 On October 7, the 24th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 12th NPC passed the Decision of the Standing Committee of the NPC on Amendments: etc. 12, which made amendments to Articles 39, 41, 96, and 96 of the Tourism Law. The Travel Agency Regulations revised and issued by Order No.676 of People's Republic of China (PRC) on March 1 2065438 and the Implementation Rules of the Travel Agency Regulations revised and issued by Order No.42 of the National Tourism Administration on February/20 16 further clarified that the management of tour leaders was changed from the qualification access system to the filing management system. In order to implement the relevant tourism laws, regulations and rules, the relevant matters concerning the management of tour leaders are hereby notified as follows:

Identification of the qualification, language ability and work experience of the team leader.

(1) College degree or above. Including ordinary institutions of higher learning, adult examinations, self-study examinations and other forms recognized by the state, with college education or above. (See Annex 2 for details)

(2) Language ability. Meet one of the following conditions: 1. Pass the foreign language tour guide qualification examination; 2. Obtain the corresponding grade certificate of language proficiency test in the corresponding language of the outbound tourism destination country (region) issued by the national license issuing agency or internationally certified. (See Annex 3 for details)

(3) Work experience. Meet one of the following conditions: 1. At least two years experience in travel agency business; 2. More than two years experience in travel agency management; 3. More than two years tour guide experience. (See Annex 4 for details)

Two, about the border tour leader, tour leader to Taiwan conditions.

(1) Border Tour Leader. Personnel engaged in border tourism tour guide business shall obtain a tour guide certificate and conclude a labor contract with the travel agency that has appointed them to engage in tour guide business and obtained a border tourism business license. Education, language, work experience and other conditions shall be formulated separately by the provinces and autonomous regions in the border areas in light of local conditions.

(2) Tour leader to Taiwan. Personnel engaged in the business of tour guides for mainland residents in Taiwan Province Province shall meet the conditions stipulated in the Measures for the Administration of Tourism for Mainland Residents in Taiwan Province Province, and online filing is not implemented for the time being.

Third, about the process of group leader filing and canceling filing.

(1) Tour guides who have signed labor contracts with outbound agencies and border agencies through the national tourism supervision service platform and completed the renewal of electronic tour guide cards, log in to their platform accounts and upload their academic certificates, language level certificates and scanned copies of labor contracts. (Language proficiency certificate filing function will be launched on August 3rd1)

(2) Outbound agencies and border agencies log on to the "National Tourism Supervision Service Platform" and use the function of "record management of tour leaders" to record qualified tour guides as tour leaders. (The filing function of border tour leaders will be activated on August 3rd1.)

(3) If the outbound agency or the border agency cancels the tour leader's filing, they can log on to the national tourism supervision service platform and use the "cancel filing" function to cancel the tour leader's filing.

The tour leader shall be responsible for the authenticity of the education, language ability, work experience and other materials provided by the tour leader, and the travel agency shall strictly review the relevant materials provided by the tour leader. If a person who does not have the conditions to be a tour leader conceals the relevant information or provides false materials to obtain the record of the tour leader and engage in the tour leader business, the tourism authorities shall handle it in accordance with the relevant provisions on appointing a tour leader who does not have the conditions to be a tour leader.

Four, about the original leader for the record.

According to the provisions of Article 93 of the Legislative Law and Article 8 of the Administrative Licensing Law, tourist guide cards obtained before the implementation of the Tourism Law on 20 13, 17, 10/0/0 (except those revoked according to law).

Provincial tourism authorities are requested to apply the format of Annex 1 0/to those who have obtained tourist guide cards before the implementation of the Tourism Law of 2010 (except those that have been revoked according to law) and those who held tourist guide cards before 20 17 10.
