1. During the summer vacation, my parents and I went to a fun city—Dalian! The sea water in Dalian is very blue and clean. My favorite thing is swimming in the sea! The sea water was cool. Although I felt my teeth chattering at first, I persisted and the more I swam, the happier I became! Rows of waves came over me, and my dad and I were jumping between the waves! Smile! Not to mention how exciting it is! And I also fished out many small stones from the bottom of the water, white and flowery, so beautiful!

2. This summer vacation, my mother took me to Guangzhou.

Today is our first day in Guangzhou. My mother and I went to my favorite Chimelong Wildlife Park and saw white tigers, koalas, pandas, alpacas, giraffes, antelopes, elephants... …lots and lots of animals. My favorite is the giraffes. They eat leaves leisurely under the shade of the trees. From a distance, they look like they are lining up to welcome the guests who come here to play. The tour guide sister also told us that giraffes have "three lengths" - long neck, long eyelashes, and long tongue. After that, we saw many animals and stayed inside for a whole day. I had so much fun today!

3. In the last week of summer vacation, my mother and I went to Huzhou for three days. It is a beautiful and quiet small city and my grandfather’s hometown.

Grandpa took us to the edge of Taihu Lake. There are many restaurants there where you can eat the fresh food from Taihu Lake: white fish, white shrimp and whitebait.

We took a speedboat and flew on the lake, which was very exciting and fun!

The newly built 5-star hotel on the edge of Taihu Lake looks like a full moon, which is the Sheraton Moon Bay Hotel. When there are lights at night, it forms a ring reflection on the lake. The scenery is particularly beautiful!
