Does Cao Cao believe in Taoism? What is the basis (poetry)?

Daoyuan in the world ",that is to say, Bozhou is one of the cradles of Taoism in China. Laozi, the ancestor of Taoism, and Chen Tuan, the ancestor of Taoism, were both from Bozhou. In addition, a series of important Taoist figures, such as Zhuangzi and Sean, have deep roots with Bozhou, so it is not accidental to position Bozhou as the "source of Taoism in the world".

Zhaowei, Deputy Director of the Municipal Tourism Bureau: It includes two aspects: one is the birthplace of Taoism, and the other is the birthplace of Taoism. So why is Bozhou the "source of Taoism in the world"? This is not the accidental thought of any of our comrades or individuals, but the inevitable conclusion of Bozhou's cultural and historical development.

Reporter: I believe I don't need to say more about the relationship between Laozi, Zhuangzi and Chen Tuan and Taoism. Everyone knows that, but you know what? There is also a famous person in Bozhou who is inextricably linked with Taoism. He is Cao Cao.

The relationship between Cao Cao and Taoism originated from one of his masters, Zuo Ci. Zuo Ci is also a famous Taoist. That year, by chance, he brought Cao Cao into the door.

Zhao Wei: It is said that Cao Cao gave a big banquet to guests. When Cao Cao heard that Zuo Ci was very popular, he said on the spot, Hey, we like Songjiang perch very much. Cao Cao said, can you get a bass? As a result, Zuo Ci was actually enchanted. He made a fishing rod, waved it in the guest's body and caught a bass. And the bass is very loud, it is said that it weighs two kilograms, which won a lot of applause. Later, everyone said that we could catch more, and we had one at a table. As a result, he caught seven or eight bass in one breath.

Cao Cao admired the skill of Zuo Ci Road. Next, Zuo Ci gave Cao Cao a magic trick. Under the gaze of Cao Cao, Zuo Ci did not eat or drink for a month, but he was still radiant. Seeing the magic of Taoism, Cao Cao later took Zuo Ci as his teacher and began to learn Taoist classics and believe in Taoism.

Zhao Kuangyin: It is precisely because of this historical origin that Cao Cao was later named as one of the gods by Taoist circles. In the Taoist genealogy, Cao Cao is the second in the middle of the seventh column, and the first god in the middle is Qin Shihuang, which shows that Cao Cao has a high position in the Taoist world.

Reporter: It seems that Cao Cao did a good job in Taoism at that time, but with so many people talking about Taoism, you may have to ask, what benefits did this Taoism leave for Bozhou? Don't worry, I'll tell you a story about Lingxi Lake around me.

Lingxi Lake, located near the west section of Gu Quan Road, has beautiful scenery in summer. Historically, Lingxi Lake was originally just a manually dug ditch for irrigation and flood control. The excavation of Lingxi Lake is directly related to the ancestors of Taoist Chen Tuan.

Zhao Wei: Chen Tuan, this man is very successful. He led the people of Bozhou to establish a Chen Zhigou between the ages of 20 and 27. This Chen Zhigou is now a section of Lingxi Lake to the north, now called Bosong River, which is the place to go to Shangqiu. Later, after Chen Tuan's death, he became the ancestor of Taoism. After the ancestor of Taoism, the local people thought he was already a god. If there is a God, there is a soul. So they renamed this Chenzhigou Lingxigou.

Over time, Lingxigou became Lingxi Lake, because this small lake is located in the west of Tangwangling, and people used to call it Lingxi Lake.

Reporter: In fact, since the Han Dynasty, almost all successful emperors have visited Laozi in Bozhou, especially in the Tang and Song Dynasties, such as Li Shimin, Li Longji and Song Taizong. They all think that Bozhou is the hometown of Laozi and the main body of Taoism. And many scholars have been here over the years. Among them, Ouyang Xiu, a great writer, wrote a poem specially for Bozhou when he was studying in Bozhou.

Professor Shirley, a drama book.

In Guxian, who is a poor country, I am still in my prime.

Birds pick dates in their gardens, while bees collect the fragrance of juniper flowers in the village.

There is an acre of land for the people in the world, and I want to plant mulberry instead.

If there is no water, no fertilizer, no fish and crabs, you will end up in a hometown where you are drunk and dreaming.

Ouyang Xiu's poems actually compare Bozhou to "Fairy Town"! So it is very reasonable for us to position Bozhou as the "source of the world" today! Well, tomorrow we will continue to tell you the story of Bozhou as the hometown of Cao Wei. See you tomorrow! Everything in a mountain of stones has its own way.
