After Changsha, Hunan is a tourist city that rises silently. Which city is it?

Speaking of the word "rising silently", there are usually two aspects to be satisfied. One is that its reputation is not very high, and many people have not paid attention to it. The other is that the city has achieved a very good result in a certain aspect. Today, the city of Hunan, which I want to talk about, can be said to meet these two aspects. This city is Chenzhou.

Now the overall tourism industry in Hunan is developing quite well. Many friends know Changsha, Yueyang, Zhangjiajie, and even Changde, which began to exert its strength in the past two years. Relatively speaking, Chenzhou is invisible in it. However, from the perspective of tourism revenue and the number of tourists, Chenzhou is a well-deserved "dark horse" city.

On the whole, the total tourism revenue of Hunan is about 85 billion, and Changsha, as the capital city and a new first-tier city, has the highest tourism revenue and the highest number of tourists in the province. But the second place is not Zhangjiajie and Yueyang mentioned by the author before, but Chenzhou. The number of tourists in Chenzhou is 72 million, ranking second after Changsha. In the past 18 years, the number of tourists in Yueyang is around 57 million, that in Changde is around 5 million and that in Zhangjiajie is less than 4 million.

In this way, Chenzhou can be said to have made many friends become the second most popular city in Hunan after Changsha. From the perspective of tourism revenue, Chenzhou is also the second. Last year, Changsha's tourism revenue was about 18 billion, Chenzhou's tourism revenue was 66 billion, Yueyang's was about 57 billion and Zhangjiajie's was 58 billion. In this way, the development of Chenzhou's tourism industry is very good, and its income has increased by more than 2% year-on-year, and the future is also very worth looking forward to.

in my opinion, if Chenzhou wants to make faster progress, it needs to seek greater and faster development in its own transportation. Especially on high-speed rail lines, more planning and attempts are needed. Only when the transportation is more convenient will it attract more tourists. In addition, the promotion of key scenic spots, even if only one or two high-profile scenic spots, can also make a city's tourism industry have great changes.
