Second, Song Yang Academy of Classical Learning

The architectural layout of Songyang Academy maintains that of the Qing Dynasty, with more than 5 halls and galleries, covering an area of 184.4 square meters, 78.6 meters wide from east to west and 128.3 meters long from north to south. The central axis building is divided into five courtyards, from south to north, followed by the gate, the first temple, the lecture hall, the Taoist temple and the library. The houses on both sides of the central axis are all hard-mountain buildings, including Chengzhu Temple, Lize Hall, Boyuezhai, Monument Gallery, etc., and 26 buildings with 18 rooms are preserved in Qing Dynasty. The academy education system was abolished at the end of Qing Dynasty. As the cultural carrier of this vanished system, Songyang Academy played an important role in studying the ancient academy architecture, education system and Confucian culture in China. As a historical monument, its significance to modern education and culture is also significant and far-reaching.
