What country is Lapland?

Lapland lies in the north of Finland and Norway. Three quarters of Lapland lies in the Arctic Circle. Its unique polar scenery and indigenous customs make it a tourist attraction. Lappeenranta is located at the southernmost tip of Saima Lake, the largest lake in Finland. The largest Marseille Canal in Finland is only 7 kilometers away from the city center, with a total length of 43 kilometers. It connects the largest lake area in Finland with the Gulf of Finland, making La Plata the largest inland port in Finland. 1968, after the canal was dredged again, it became the main road for trade and tourism between Finland and Russia, and passenger ships could sail from Lapland Tower to St. Petersburg, Russia. In summer, people take a boat trip from the pier of La Plata to visit Lake Marseille and the canal, and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the lake area in eastern Finland.
