The Tourism Law of the People's Republic of China has been implemented since 20 13, 10 and 1. Please explain the relevant provisions of this new law on package tour contracts.

A: A package tour contract refers to a contract in which the travel agency arranges the itinerary in advance and provides or provides two or more tour services such as transportation, accommodation, catering, sightseeing, tour guide or tour leader by performing the duties of an assistant, and the tourists pay the travel expenses.

A package tour contract shall be in written form.

A package tour contract includes the following contents:

(1) Basic information of travel agencies and tourists;

(2) Travel itinerary;

(3) the minimum number of people staying in the group;

(4) Arrangements and standards for tourism services such as transportation, accommodation and catering;

(5) the specific content and time of sightseeing, entertainment and other projects;

(6) Free timetable;

(seven) travel expenses and payment terms and methods;

(eight) the liability for breach of contract and the way to resolve disputes;

(9) Other matters stipulated by laws and regulations and agreed by both parties.

The travel agency shall provide tourists with travel itinerary before the start of the travel itinerary, and the travel itinerary shall be a package tour contract.
