Features: Basongcuo Lake is also known as Cuogao Lake, which means "green water" in Tibetan. It has the reputation of Jiuzhaigou Valley in Tibet and is a red lake. The famous sacred lake is about 12 kilometers long, more than 60 meters deep at its deepest point, and has a total area of ??more than 6,000 acres. The shape of the lake is like a crescent moon embedded in a mountain canyon. The lake is crystal clear, with the surrounding snow-capped mountains reflected in it. Sand gulls and white cranes float on the surface of the lake. You can see fish swimming in the transparent lake water, which is very interesting. There is Cuozonggongba Temple on Tashi Island in the middle of the lake. It was built in the late Tang Dynasty. The rocks on the island are carved into unique animal images and Buddha statues.
