What tourism resources does Hangzhou have?

Huang Pavilion is the best place to see the scenery of West Lake. It is located at the highest point in the southeast of West Lake, with Leifeng Pagoda in the south and Baoshu Pagoda in the north. It is a large lake with sparkling water and mountains as the bottom. A long-axis landscape painting. I just discovered this the day before yesterday.

West Lake Museum, Nanshan Road. There are many museums in Hangzhou, and this one is considered a very comprehensive one. It covers science and humanities. I feel that the popular science is worth seeing. There is also a model of the West Lake Scenic Area, which is very intuitive.

Hu Xueyan's former residence can be said to be the best in architecture. It was built with Hu's years of management and huge sums of money from enemy countries. It is extremely gorgeous.

Han Meilin Art Museum, in the Botanical Garden. This person is the main designer of the Olympic mascot Fuwa. There are sculptures, paintings, purple clay pots, and glazed products in the museum. The style of painting advocates the use of circles, which tends to be abstract, which is not my taste. But I like the sculptures very much, especially the Buddha statues, which are made of bronze and are lifelike.

In addition, there are silk fabrics from Jinsheng’s former residence. He uses paintings and photography as models to weave tapestry, giving it a completely new flavor. When I was in Qinhuangdao with Hao Ruiyao a few years ago, I bought a piece of textile with Zhou Enlai's head, which was also made by Du Jinsheng.

Huang Binhong’s paintings. The former residence is at the foot of Qixialing, behind the Yue Temple, in a small, clean building. The painting is in the Zhejiang Art Museum, on Gushan Road. I didn't think Chinese paintings were so lifelike before, but after seeing his paintings, I have changed. Paintings can calm the mind. Huang was born in troubled times and advocated that paintings should be pure and profound and reflect the spirit of the nation. Unfortunately, I have poor eyesight and know nothing about painting.

Li Shutong Memorial Hall is located deep in the Hupao Temple and is within a dozen steps of the Hupao Spring. It is very secluded. The 100-meter path up from Hupaomen is a place for painting. Li Shutong was a prodigy who was proficient in music. "Outside the pavilion, beside the ancient road, the green grass stretched to the sky. The evening breeze blew the willows and the sound of the flute faded, and the sun set outside the mountains..." The song "Farewell" has been extremely popular since the 1930s. After middle age, he was ordained and entered Buddhism, with the Buddhist title Hongyi, and made great contributions to the rectification of the Vinaya sect. The memorial hall has a Western-style layout embedded in a Chinese-style building, with a side wing as its residence. I once sat on a chair in the guest room when it rained, and the water continued to drip from the eaves. The color of the water filled the air, surrounded by green trees, and I couldn't bear to leave. No wonder Master Hongyi chose to meditate here.

The waterfall in Prince Bay Park. The park is located in the south of West Hunan, just to the left of Su Causeway. Every day the air is clear and clear, and there are countless Hangzhou people taking wedding photos, but only the waterfall is worth visiting. West Lake started changing its water a few years ago. Water is pumped in from the Qiantang River and taken out from the Children's Palace. All the water can be changed every month. This waterfall was formed by diverting water. I thought I could find the source, so I climbed up Jiuyao Mountain behind to find it. It turned out that the water came through a channel inside the mountain. The height is only thirty or forty meters. However, waterfalls can be seen in Hangzhou only here and Bailongtan in Zhuantang. The latter is remote, but the former can also be played under the waterfall, which is very good. To the east of the park are the tombs of Zhang Taiyan and Zhang Cangshui, where Wei Bao paid his respects.

Guozhuang is on the west line of West Lake, beside Xili Lake. The private manor before the Republic of China was not too big and extremely unique. Outside is the West Lake. There are two platforms by the water. One is a teahouse with many people; the other has only two stone tables and a large platform. It is an excellent place for viewing. He Ranqing actually wanted to sleep when he came here. What a waste of scenery.

The Botanical Garden is right next to the south gate of the school. It is very refreshing to take a walk in the evening or morning, especially the feeling of the jungle.

On Qixialing, you can get there from the Jiangnan Literature Museum on Beishan Road. Not many people know about it. Only people nearby often climb it. There is a big stone and the whole view of the West Lake is very good.

Faxi Temple, above Lingyin Temple, is a good place for me to have a vegetarian meal. From 4:30 to 5:10 in the afternoon, I rush there to have dinner. You can stay there at night. In the morning, you can go down to the Eight Kowloon Pagodas, Yongfu Temple, Lingyin along the trail on the left, and to the Middle Tianzhu, Lower Tianzhu, and Sansheng Stone on the right.

Guiren Pavilion is in the southwest mountains, above Hupao Temple. The view is very broad, and you can reach the West Lake, Qiantang River, Beifeng, Wengjia Mountain, and below are the tea gardens of Honghuawu and Pearlwu.

In addition, in the mountains of Hangzhou, there are Santai Pavilion on Santai Mountain in the southwest and Fenghuang Pavilion on Fenghuang Ridge in the southeast. Especially Santai Pavilion, you can definitely see it when you look west from West Lake. As the mountain stretches along, a small point protrudes, which looks like a pavilion if you look closely. I took a picture of the west direction before dark on Su Di. A star on the celestial sphere hangs on the top of the mountain, and the eaves of Santai Pavilion have a unique flavor on the ridgeline.

In fact, the mountains in Hangzhou can change a lot without getting bored. The trails on the mountain are quite comfortable to walk, and there are definitely interesting places not far away, which are very beneficial to the body and mind. Ten miles away, Ma'er Mountain is extremely flat. If you go to the west side of Yuhuang Mountain in the afternoon, you will feel like a deserted plain forest. Two people walked there before.

There are also several places that are crowded during holidays. Tour guides like to take them there, but in fact the most people they see are people, which is boring. The first recommendation is the Yue Temple, because it is at the West Lake Su Causeway and the north entrance of Gushan. There is a parking lot nearby and the flow of people is large. The tour guide is very willing to bring it here. It is worth seeing inside, including the Tomb of Yue Fei and the Four Ugly Kneeling Elephants of Qin Hui, but you cannot go there during the festival. Leifeng Pagoda, on the south line of West Lake, is also close to the parking lot and is extremely crowded.

Lingyin Temple, when traveling to Hangzhou, the recommended ones are definitely West Lake and Lingyin. Although Lingyin Temple is indeed worth visiting, there is Feilai Peak, the ancient temple is called the first temple in the southeast, and the tallest sandalwood elephant of Sakyamuni. Wait, but again, it will be crowded if you go on holidays
