What is it like to study at Harbin Institute of Technology Zhihu
The Harbin campus is the main campus, commonly known as the headquarters, Weihai is the branch campus, and Shenzhen is the graduate school with a small number of undergraduate students. According to the plan, Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen) will be built at the end of the 12th Five-Year Plan. (Since I only studied in this school, I will only describe my personal experience of this school in this answer.)
This school is divided into two school districts, District 1 and District 2, with free commuter buses. The feeling of District 2 is similar to that of a high school. The campus is nearly square. Apart from teaching facilities and a few small shops, there is basically nothing else on the campus. The four colleges of Municipal Administration, Civil Engineering, Transportation, and Food are all in District 2 from freshmen to doctoral students. The other colleges only have freshmen in District 2, collectively called the Department of Basic Studies.
District 1 is more complicated. It roughly consists of three blocks - Civil Engineering Building, "District 1", and Science Park. It takes nearly half an hour to walk from Civil Engineering Building to the Space Museum of Science Park (not with a female ticket) When the road is on the road), it passes through Yaojing Community, Fuhua Community, Fansheng Community, Gardening Community, Xiyuan Community, Guixin Community and a railway crossing. The whole journey is more than 3 kilometers. Although it is customary to collectively refer to District 1, the Science Park and the Civil Engineering Building are more like Districts 3 and 4, because both places have facilities such as canteens, dormitories, teaching buildings, and office buildings. For example, students who live in the science park where the professor moved out of the beast usually like to say "How about going to District 1" instead of "How about going to Building XX"
Harbin Institute of Technology is a typical engineering college, don't listen People are talking nonsense about what kind of science and engineering school it is. The School of Science, which once had four departments, has only three departments left. Part of the original Department of Chemistry is now the School of Chemical Engineering, and the original Department of Biology is now the School of Life Science and Technology. The reason why we have to come up with this Regarding the two colleges, one is because I am a low-achieving student in the College of Science and I know them better, and the other is because these two colleges are already considered engineering (the school is not sure, but it is considered so within the College of Science). The construction of the second area has a sense of integrity, while the first area has a completely haphazard feel.
