Data show that in 2019, the total number of international tourists worldwide reached 1.5 billion, a year-on-year increase of 4%. Among them, the countries that received the most international tourists were France, Spain and the United States.

According to the United Nations World Tourism Organization, the global tourism industry was hit hard by the new coronavirus epidemic in 2020. The top 20 countries in global tourism revenue in 2019 include the United States, China, Germany, the United Kingdom, India and other countries.
