The tourism group is strategically positioned as the city's "major tourism project developer, important tourism resource operator, and emerging tourism industry leader" and focuses on six major sectors: "tourism development, scenic spot operation, tourism services, hotels and catering, commercial exhibitions, and tourism finance."

As of the end of October 2023, the tourism group has a registered capital of 1.73 billion yuan, total assets of 47.35 billion yuan, and net assets of 17.48 billion yuan. It directly manages 18 first-level subsidiaries and manages 2 public institutions. With approximately 3,200 employees, it is the largest state-owned tourism enterprise with the most complete industrial chain in Jiangsu Province. From 2019 to 2022, the tourism group has been ranked among the "Top 20 Chinese Tourism Groups" for four consecutive years.
