You need to apply for a pass to and from Taiwan. According to Article 3 of the Measures for the Administration of China Citizens Travelling to and from Taiwan Province Province issued by the National Immigration Bureau, mainland residents going to Taiwan Province Province shall pass through the open or designated entry and exit ports with travel documents issued by the exit and entry administration departments of public security organs. Moreover, Article 11 stipulates that mainland residents who have been approved to go to Taiwan Province Province should go within the validity period of the endorsement of their travel documents, and unless they have settled down, they should return on schedule. If there are special reasons, you can also call the public security organ at the port of entry to go through the entry formalities. For example, l endorsement: team travel, valid once every 3 months, valid many times a year; G endorsement: individual travel, valid once every 6 months; T endorsement: family visit, reunion and visiting the sick are valid once every six months, and 1, 2 or 3 years are valid many times; J endorsement: residence, supporting relatives, returning to China, valid for multiple times within 3 years.
