The first step is to create a new file

First, of course, start a new project, click Start, and then click the first icon to create a new file. VIDEOSTUDIO will pop up a dialog box, allowing you to select the storage path, file name and description of the file. This template is actually similar to a file template. Select a template, and the file properties of this template will be pointed out in the description box, such as the adopted encoding and audio stream. It is worth mentioning that VIDEOSTUDIO supports MPEG2 encoding, that is, it can generate our common MPG files. The recently used file names are also listed on the panel. Click it to open it. Is it convenient? I have to mention the "content-sensitive description" button. Click it, and then click the menu or icon you want to know, and a concise description will be displayed immediately. The bucket icon is of course a garbage can, and the two rotating arrows are our usual functions of UNDO and REDO.

Step 2: Capture the image

The file is completed, and you can capture the image from the digital camera or digital video camera to the computer. If the video card has been installed correctly, the menu item Capture will be displayed in the function bar, otherwise it will be grayed out. Turn on your camera (remember to connect it to the computer first, of course). At this time, you will see that the contents of the camera will be synchronized in the preview window, and the options panel will change to the options about the captured contents. What you need to do is very simple. Just click the video recorder icon with a red dot to start capturing, and VIDEOSTUDIO will remind you in time: when you want to stop, just click the start capturing icon or press ESC. During the capture process, the preview window will be synchronized with the image of the camera, so that you can see the progress of the capture at a glance. After capturing, press the play button under the preview window to see how the effect is. You can separate a long video into several segments to capture, and VIDEOSTUDIO will automatically save them into different video files. If the "capture to gallery" option is selected, you will see several more file icons in the gallery, otherwise you can see the newly captured file appearing in the video track of the timeline window.

Step 3, video editing. As long as the editing of the video you want is very simple in VIDEOSTUDIO, if you want to import the existing video and audio files, just select the drop-down menu in the gallery, and then click the load button on the right side of the drop-down menu. VIDEOSTUDIO supports AVI, FLC, MPG and other video file formats, which can be previewed before introduction. It supports more than 2 picture formats such as BMP, PNG, JPG, etc. Select a video file and click the play button to preview it in the preview window. At this time, the options in the options panel are video duration, start point, end point, volume, output options, etc. For example, if you want to cut off the beginning of a video, you can manually enter the start time in the "Mark Start Time" column, or drag the control point in the trim column, but you can't find the trim column. The first green column under the preview window is right. At this time, if you want to save the cut video as a file, please click the middle of the three buttons tied under the options panel. When the mouse moves up, VIDEOSTUDIO will prompt that the function of this button is to "save the selected area as a new video file". Want to know what the other two buttons do? In fact, the function of the first button is to save the current frame as a picture file. Click it, and there will be an extra BMP file in the directory of the current project file. This is amazing. With this function, you can make photos of the most wonderful moment in the video, print it out or put it in an electronic photo book. Click the third button to see information about the current video file, such as file name, file size, etc. At this time, if we want to combine two video files into one paragraph, we should first switch the timeline window to script mode (click the small button on the upper left of the timeline window) and then drag them to the script bar respectively. As shown above, two video files and an image file have been dragged into the script bar. Switching to the time bar mode, we can see that the two videos are arranged in the time bar in sequence, but in fact they are played in sequence according to the time shown in the time bar.

the fourth step, special effects processing, turning decay into magic

Is it too monotonous to simply play two videos in sequence? Let's add special effects between the two videos. Click on the special effects menu, and then select an effect from the drop-down menu on the right side of the preview window. You can immediately see the preview effects of several special effects, choose one you like best, and then drag it between two files in the script bar. Modifying the parameters of special effects in the options panel can change the appearance effect of special effects, such as shutter effect, you can choose to scan from top to bottom or from left to right, and you can also decide the duration of special effects; If the door opening effect is selected, the thickness and color of the door frame can be modified to determine whether the edge of the door is hardened or softened, and the direction of opening the door. If you forget to click the tick-shaped Apply Change button after modifying the parameters, VIDEOSTUDIO will remind you in due course whether to apply the changes just made. You can try more until you find the special effects you are satisfied with.

Step 5, make the ending of your movie

Do you want to add a humorous or warm remark while playing the video, or do you want to add a remark similar to the producer and director at the end of the movie, just like a real movie? Then add a title to your movie. Please click the title menu and click the T-shaped button, then you can enter the text in the preview window, and you can change the font, size, color, alignment, etc. These operations are almost the same as those of WORD, so you should be familiar with it. Set the animation effect of this text in the "Action Style" item, such as fading in, fading out, moving, etc. After adding the title, you can see that the title track has added a piece of content in the timeline window. Drag the yellow control points on both sides of the content to change the duration of the title, and move it to change the time when the title appears.

Step 6, record the narration for explanation

Since it is a movie, of course, it is necessary to add the narration. In fact, the voice menu realizes the function of a tape recorder. See that little dot button? Click on it to start recording. Of course, you didn't forget to connect the microphone to your computer. To stop recording, just click the dot button again or press ESC. After recording, you can see that a file with the expanded name of WAV has been added to the voice track. This is the voice file you just recorded, which is stored in the directory of the current file. In fact, there is a simple way to know its storage path. First, select the WAV file in the voice track, and then click the material properties button under the options panel. See the storage path of this file. VIDEOSTUDIO also gives you the freedom to choose whether to use fade-in or fade-out effects. Changing the duration and appearance time of narration is the same as the corresponding operation of changing the title, so I won't say much here. Want to hear the recording effect? Just select the file point play button. If you think the recording effect is not good enough, it doesn't matter. Drag the file on the voice track to the trash can and throw it away. Of course, you can also use other recording software, such as WINDOWS tape recorder to record the sound first, and then insert it into the voice track. The method is to select the voice track, and then click the Insert Media File button on the side to insert the audio file. VIDEOSTUDIO supports not only WAV file format, but also MP3 format.

Step 7, make a piece of your favorite background music.

Now it's time to add background music. Let's enjoy our own movies with melodious music. Please select the music track, click Insert Media File and add the audio file. In addition, DIDEOSTUDIO also provides the function of recording music from CD. There are two ways to realize recording. First, choose a track you like, manually enter the music length, start time and end time, and then click on recording. This recording start point and end point will be controlled more accurately, but you need to determine the time value first. Method 2: Select the track, click Play, and when you put it in a paragraph you want to record, click Record. Stop recording in the same way as voice recording, and press ESC. Files generated by recording will be automatically placed in the music track.

Step 8, complete

Everything is ready by this step, so output according to your needs. Click Make Movie to output AVI, MPG, RM, etc. Click Make Sound button to output sound only in WAV or MPA format. VIDEOSTUDIO also has several special output options. For example, if you select a webpage, it will automatically generate a webpage file containing this video file. If you select an email, it will automatically open the email program in the system to send an email, and your video will be sent as an attachment to the email. What I like best is the greeting card option, because it can generate EXE executable files, which means that your friends can see the movies you sent without installing special software. I believe many friends will like this function. Select "Greeting Card", and then click "Remit" to open the pop-up window. The big window is the preview of the EXE file to be generated. See several control points of the movie box. Drag them to change the size of the displayed movie. Don't forget to select the item "video aspect ratio", otherwise it will lead to deformation if the size is not changed in proportion. Drag the movie box to change its position. Of course, you can also manually enter specific values in the items of width, height, X and Y. If you don't like this parrot with a doctor's hat that comes with VIDEOSTUDIO, you can click Browse in the background template file name to select your own background and choose a BMP or JPG picture that you like best. Wait a minute. Before generating the EXE file, let's take a look at the effect. Click the inverted triangle play button under the big window. Well, it's not bad. Then look at the file size, 185K, which is acceptable (how thoughtful VIDEOSTUDIO is). Enter the file name in the greeting card file name three times, five times and two times, and press OK, and you're done. MAIL it to your friend, and he can enjoy your masterpiece by double-clicking.

at this point, the main use of VIDEOSTUDIO has been introduced. Is it simple, A PIECE OF CAKE?
