The honors of Huating Lake Scenic Area also followed one after another: it has successively won five national-level "gold-lettered" signs such as a national scenic spot, a national AAAA tourist area, a national water conservancy scenic area, a national agricultural tourism demonstration site, and a national wetland park. Since then, a new page has been opened in the history of tourism development in Taihu County. An endless stream of tourists from both inside and outside the province come to Huating Lake every year.

Huating Lake Scenic Area is a comprehensive scenic area with waterscape as the main body and unique natural and cultural landscapes as its features. The scenic area covers an area of ??257 square kilometers and is divided into five major scenic areas: Huating Lake, Longshan, Xifeng Temple, Fotu Temple, Lion Rock and Tangwan Hot Spring Resort.
