Slovenia's position on the map

Slovenia is located in south-central Europe, at the northwest end of Balkan Peninsula.

Slovenia borders Italy to the west, Austria and Hungary to the north, Croatia to the east and south, and Adriatic Sea to the southwest. The coastline is 46.6 kilometers long.
