Chen Jianguo was formerly a judicial police officer of the Jiangsu Provincial Higher People's Court. He is now an athlete of the China Motorcycle Sports Association and a registered athlete of the China National Sports Commission.

Jianguo has had an ideal since he was a child, that is, one day we Chinese can also stand on the podium of world-class motorcycle competitions. For this ideal, Chen Jianguo started motorcycle and car competition training at the age of 14. He started long-distance rally training at the age of 19 and drove from Nanjing to Tibet and Xinjiang many times, covering a total of more than 100,000 kilometers.

In 1999, Jianguo resolutely gave up his public office and devoted himself to motorcycle training, becoming China's first professional motorcycle rider.

In 2004, motorcycle racing will become an official event of the Olympic Games. Chen Jianguo knows that he can only be a paving stone for Chinese motorcycle sports, but he hopes that through his efforts, he will continue to create extreme records for Chinese motorcycle sports so that more people can recognize and support participation in motorcycle racing. Only in this way can we Chinese have a place in the world's motorcycle sports field.

In September 1999, Chen Jianguo set out from Nanjing and passed through seven provinces and regions including Jiangsu, Anhui, Henan, Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia and Xinjiang. He crossed the Taklimakan Desert from Aksu to Hotan in nine days and eight nights, which was the first time in human history. A world record for a single rider successfully crossing the "Sea of ??Death" - the Taklimakan Desert without communication, navigation, or backup.

According to a survey conducted by Beijing Youth Daily in Xinjiang, more than 90% of the locals believe that crossing the desert is simply impossible, and Chen Jianguo will never return. Therefore, Chen Jianguo successfully completed the Taklimakan Desert Century Great crossing. His feat not only created a glorious and magnificent page for Chinese motorcycle sports, but also brought a complete end to the famous Taklimakan expedition history. Chen Jianguo also received the World Guinness Certificate. He is also affectionately called "Chinese Rider" and "Ultimate Warrior" by the media.

In April 2000, Chen Jianguo trained and tried to climb Mount Everest, reaching an altitude of 5,600 meters above sea level. This altitude has been recognized by the Tibet Autonomous Region Sports Committee as the earliest motorcycle in human history in the Everest region. At the same time, Chen Jianguo also entered history as the first person in the world to climb Mount Everest by motorcycle.

In June 2000, Mr. Chen Jianguo participated in the first China International Motorcycle Tourism Festival as the chief special guest, and led 20 outstanding motorcycle athletes from all over the country to collectively cross the Tengger Desert to create a new world base. Nice record.

In July 2000, Mr. Chen Jianguo, as coach and team leader, led the motorcycle mountaineering team to win the team championship in the 2000 China Motorcycle Mountaineering Competition. Mr. Chen Jianguo participated in the on-site commentary of the game as a special commentary consultant for CCTV.
