Which route is better for traveling from Changsha to Dunhuang? What to do on the way

You first take a flight or train to Lanzhou, then take the train from Lanzhou to Dunhuang which leaves at around 6pm. The next morning, you go to Dunhuang Railway Station and go directly to Mogao Grottoes, arriving in the city at noon. Find a hotel to stay in and go to Dunhuang Film and Television City in the afternoon, which is very fun and looks like ancient times. In the evening, go to Shazhou Market, Dunhuang Night Market, where you can buy handicrafts, souvenirs, and various Western snacks. We went to Crescent Moon Spring early the next morning. It was not hot in the desert in the morning and we could see Crescent Moon Spring and listen to the singing sand mountains. At noon, you can optionally go to Yangguan Yumenguan Devil City and the like. I took the train at 7pm and arrived in Lanzhou early the next morning and then returned. The whole journey took about two days to cover everything and save money. If you have enough time, you can go to Jiayu Pass to see the Great Wall when you return.
