Xiachuan Island

Located in the southwest of Taishan City, the sea water is crystal clear , the sun is shining brightly, and the quality of the sand and sea is great. The beach here is gentle and open, slowly extending towards the sea. Even though it is a bit far from the shore, the water depth is not too high, and tourists can enjoy the waves as much as they want. There is also a 1,600-meter-long coconut grove on the island, which has a unique taste. You can also enjoy the sunset while eating seafood, eat night food stalls, and experience the fun of barbecue and beer.

Kaiping Diaolou and Villages

The Kaiping Diaolou is a special local architecture in China. It is a multi-story tower building integrating defense, residence, and Chinese and Western architectural art. It is characterized by a combination of Chinese and Western styles, with ancient Greek, Roman and Islamic styles. The movie "The Grandmaster" was filmed here. Kaiping Diaolou includes Liyuan, Lizi Village Diaolou Group, Chikan Film and Television City, and Jinjiang Li Diaolou Group, all of which are worth visiting.

Xunhuang Prairie

This is a rare prairie in the south. Bring your friends and confidants, fly kites, pick wild fruits, and sing loudly on this green grassland. What do you want to do? Just do whatever you want. Facing the Phoenix Lake, known as the "Guangdong Thousand Island Lake", 138 turquoise islands are dotted in the center of the lake, forming a spectacular and beautiful natural landscape painting. Along the way, you can see the windmills of the wind power station, standing quietly on the mountain. From a distance, it looks very peaceful.

Guifeng Mountain National Forest Park

Guifeng Mountain is majestic and has tall and straight peaks. It is named because it looks like Guibi. The green peaks here are rolling and it is Jiangmen's natural oxygen bar. Whether you want to climb high and look far, ride around the lake, worship Buddha and pray for blessings, or simply come here to enjoy the fresh air of nature, it is a very good choice.

The landscapes in the forest park are diverse, and the mountains of Guifeng Mountain and the beautiful Yuhu Lake are intoxicating. When visiting Guifengshan National Forest Park, you can cycle along the Yuhu Lake at the foot of the mountain. There is a cable car in the scenic area, and you can take the cable car up the mountain. At the Yutai Temple halfway up the mountain, the incense is strong and you can go to pray.

Chikan Ancient Town

Chikan is an ancient town with a long history in Kaiping. It is named after being built on the "Songkhla Plateau". The town is surrounded by rivers and ancient trees. For hundreds of years, its simple architectural style and folk customs have hardly changed. The arcade is built along the water, showing the unique scene of the hometown of overseas Chinese. Because most of them have not been repaired by future generations, they are imprinted with the vicissitudes of history and present their original charm. There are also several watchtowers built on Zhonghua West Road, Deye Road and Xidi West Road in the town, which brought together the wisdom of the people of the previous dynasty and the military concept of "defending the home and the country". Tofu balls and claypot rice are local delicacies, don’t forget to try them when you play.
