How to raise wild turtles?

1, turtle water

Prepare it with tap water that has been dry for 2 days (dechlorination). 2. Dry in a plastic bucket to meet the need of water change. It is recommended to change the whole cylinder every day unless the water around the cylinder is dirty. When changing water locally, use a plastic small tube to suck out the dirty water at the bottom by siphon principle, and then add new water with the same capacity into the tank (that is, tap water to dry for 2 days). If you change the water turtle, you will have blindness or rotten nails. If you want to save labor, change the water in the whole tank every day or several times to ensure the healthy growth of turtles.

2, turtle food

Feed pork, beef, shrimp, small fish, poultry and fish liver like turtles. Some foods should be chopped or shredded. When feeding fish feed or turtle feed, it is recommended to feed as much as possible. Just leave some food when cooking. There is no need to buy turtle food specially. Pay attention to feed shrimp, fish, fishbone of shrimp head, and fishbone pierce turtle throat. Frozen food should be thawed until the temperature and water temperature cause it.

The temperature is high in summer, and the turtle's metabolism is fast. It is recommended to feed the turtles every other day, because they need to be fed too often. Animals with slow metabolism can be fed every few days when they are busy. Hungry animals can even eat for half a month when traveling. The little turtle came in the autumn of 10, and was a little wronged and ate for several days. In winter, turtles start to hibernate and stop eating.

Turtles are fed the same amount of food every time. Their heads and necks are big enough for turtles to eat. Because of the wild environment, it may take them several days to find food. They are born to eat more every time and don't need food. It is suggested that turtles have a big appetite. Eating too much is bad for your health and will affect your life span.

3. Breeding environment of turtles

The water depth of turtle breeding is slightly higher than that of turtle back, that is, it doesn't need to be too deep (when turtle friends need or like high water level when using filters, it is another matter), so that stones above the water surface can be provided for turtles to climb up and bask in the back; Turtles need sunlight completely. Let them stay indoors for more than ten minutes every day. It is suggested to keep them in the southeast where the sun exposure time is about 1-2 hours (which requires long-term direct sunlight), and provide shading conditions (put a small board on the top of the tank to partially block them) to avoid high temperature in summer.

4. About hibernation

Every year, when the temperature drops to 10-113℃ in10℃, the turtle will hibernate until the temperature rises to 18℃ in February and March, and the hibernating turtle will stop eating and just sleep. A simple hibernation method will move the tortoise to a dark and quiet place indoors (the water has just flowed through the shell). In addition to changing the water once a month, try to disturb the tortoise, and pay attention to the temperature below 6℃ or it will endanger its life.
