The central fishing port project officially started in July 2007. At the beginning of the construction, the construction goal of "reclamation in one year, reclamation in two years, port in three years and taking shape in early August" was established. In 2007, it took six months to complete the construction of 10 km breakwater, and land reclamation was realized that year. By the end of 2008, the dredging of the harbor basin180,000 cubic meters and land reclamation of 3.5 square kilometers were completed as planned, and the "two-year land reclamation" plan was realized. In the year when the port was built, the channel dredging was completed, six 5,000-ton wharves were built, and the soft foundation of 3.5 square kilometers was all reinforced. The total length of the main road was about 2 1.7 kilometers, the total length of the drainage pipe network was 55.2 kilometers, and the earthwork was 9 million cubic meters. After land and sea traffic is opened, the central fishing port will take shape according to the plan.
