Where does Liuban Village belong?

Liuban Village is located in the northeast of Xiamei Town, adjacent to Jiuzhen Port in the southeast, across the sea from Liuao Peninsula, adjacent to Shanqian Village in the northeast, Yuntou Village in the west, Xiamei Village in the south and Guotian Village in the north. Provincial Highway Zhangdong Road and Zhangzhao Expressway pass through the village.

Economic situation and basic facilities

The total cultivated land in the village is 2,365 mu (1,6 mu of paddy fields and 1,35 mu of agricultural land), mainly planted with rice, sweet potatoes and vegetables. There is a mountainous area with 3 mu of fruit trees such as litchi, longan, peach and plum. There is a tidal flat, with 75 mu of fish and shrimp ponds and 3 mu of ponds. The villagers also have the income of "seeking a small sea". The average net income per person is 267 yuan.

The whole village drinks well water, and is illuminated by electric lights. Television and telephone are basically popularized.

Liuban Primary School has a campus area of 22,11 square meters. In 1988, a new school building was built with a construction area of 1,84 square meters. Now there are 23 classes, with 693 students and 36 teachers.

There are some tourist attractions near Liuban Village, such as Tiger Rock, Zhangzhou Flower Expo Garden, Tianfu Tea Museum, Southeast Zhangzhou Flower Expo Garden Scenic Area, Binhai Volcanic Geopark, etc., and there are some specialties such as Old Town Dahao, Zhangpu Shaxi Red Sturgeon, Wushi Litchi, Shaxi banyan bonsai, and Deep Soil Porphyra.
