How to travel with a 1-year-old baby

1. One-day trip to the suburbs:

1. Diapers, paper towels, and wet wipes. You need to calculate the amount of diapers your baby needs in advance, and wet wipes come in small packages.

2. Bibs and handkerchiefs. The one-year-old baby is teething and often drools, so he must bring "waterproof equipment".

3. Hats and blankets. The hat can not only keep you warm, but also protect you from wind and sun. A small blanket is essential to cover your baby if he falls asleep on the way home.

4. Baby bottles, milk powder, and milk powder boxes. If you go out for 3 to 4 hours, you don’t need to bring a bottle or milk powder. If it exceeds 4 hours, you can bring an appropriate amount of milk powder and pack the milk powder into milk powder boxes. One small box can be used once, which is convenient and hygienic. In addition, solid milk powder is also sold in supermarkets, which is also a good choice.

5. Thermos pot and drinking cup. Try to let the baby drink warm water, which can also facilitate the preparation of milk powder.

6. Snacks and fruits. It is inevitable that the baby will be hungry or bored when he is outside, or he will get greedy when he sees other children eating, so it is best to bring biscuits and bread that the baby often eats. You can wash the fruits at home and cut them into small strips or slices and put them in a crisper. You can also bring fruits that are easy to peel, such as oranges and bananas.

7. Plastic bags. It can be used not only to put the baby's clothes, but also to hold waste.

8. Picnic mat. Picnic mats can be used on beaches and lawns. When tired of playing, the baby can sit on it to play and eat.

2. Short-distance two-day trip:

In addition to the above-mentioned items, you should also consider other items such as bedding, toiletries, tableware and other items that your baby will need to stay overnight.

1. Change of clothes. 1 top, 2 to 3 pairs of trousers, 1 pair of socks, and a small vest in case the weather changes. Prepare hard-soled shoes for your baby that he usually wears, and the size should fit well.

2. Adequate complementary food. It is very convenient to carry canned food such as fruit and vegetable puree, fish paste, meat paste, etc. when traveling. You can warm it with boiling water and give it to your baby. Rice cereal is also very suitable for taking on the go. If there is no food suitable for your baby at the moment, you can directly soak it and feed it to your baby.

3. Baby bottle. Bring at least two feeding bottles, which must be washed and sterilized after use.

4. Tableware. Hygiene cannot be guaranteed for catering in public places, so be sure to bring your baby's bowl and spoon, as well as a baby's special dishwashing brush and bottle brush.

5. Bedding. Bring your baby's own thin sleeping bag and pillowcase. When your baby smells the familiar smell, he will fall asleep more peacefully.

6. Towels and washbasin. Bringing the baby's own washbasin is to wash the baby's face and butt. Especially female babies should pay attention to hygiene.

7. Toys and storybooks. Bring one or two favorite toys and a few storybooks for your baby to divert your baby's attention when he cries or becomes impatient after sitting in the car for a long time. For babies, the time of travel by means of transportation should not exceed 4 hours.

3. Long-distance travel:

If you are going out for more than 3 days, in addition to the above items, you should also prepare standing medicines just in case.

1. Clothes. Prepare at least 3 sets of clothes and several pairs of socks so that you can change them at any time. It is advisable to choose casual clothes that can be taken off when hot, put on when cold, and are easy to put on and take off.

2. Tableware. If possible, you can bring a small stew pot to cook porridge, noodles, egg custard, etc. in the hotel.

3. Medicines. Bring your baby's fever-reducing medicine, anti-diarrheal medicine, anti-vomiting medicine, cold medicine and thermometer, etc., in case of emergency.

Don’t worry, as long as you are well prepared, your baby’s food, clothing, accommodation and transportation can be arranged in an orderly manner during the trip. Finally, mothers prepare a portable mommy bag, one that can be worn cross-body (easy to free up hands), has many compartments (easy to store), and has a large capacity, and then they are ready to go.
