How to get to Mengla, Yunnan from Chaozhou?

The first thing is to go to Kunming, the capital city of Yunnan. If you have enough money, you can fly directly from Shantou to Kunming, which only takes two hours. If you choose to go by land, it takes 32 hours to go to Guangzhou by car and then to Kunming by train from Guangzhou. After arriving in Kunming, you said you wanted to go to Ruili first, and then to Mengla. Ruili is at the westernmost tip of Dehong Prefecture in Yunnan, and Mengla is at the southernmost tip of Xishuangbanna Prefecture in Yunnan. No matter from which angle, you can only go from Kunming to Ruili and then back to Kunming to Mengla. From Kunming to Ruili, you can take the bus to Baoshan and then transfer, or you can fly to Baoshan Airport and take the bus.
