Linzi is rich in historical and cultural resources and has broad prospects for tourism development. The people of Linzi are hardworking and brave, and have a glorious revolutionary tradition. He made great sacrifices and contributions during the Anti-Japanese War and the War of Liberation. In November 1938, Cao Minghui, a Communist Party member who graduated from the Military and Political Cadre School of the Eighth Route Army's Anti-Japanese Advance Column, returned to his hometown to carry out anti-Japanese and national salvation activities, develop party members, and establish the first party group in Ling County. In June of the following year, he, together with Wang Zhihe, Zhao Dengxun and other comrades, established the Fifth District District Committee, the Anti-Japanese District Office and the first district-level anti-Japanese armed force in Ling County; in 1940, the prefectural and county committees decided to open up an anti-Japanese base area centered on the Five Districts. Hao Ju, Secretary of the Second Prefectural Committee of the Hebei-Shandong Border Region and other leading comrades were also stationed in Xinzhuang and Zhuerwai Village. Linzi District once became the center of the anti-Japanese struggle led by the Second Prefectural Committee and the rear base of the Second Army Division. During the Liberation War, Linzi District was a model district in the county and even the entire region in terms of joining the army and supporting the frontline. In support of the liberation of Jinan campaign alone, 300 stretchers and 250 trolleys were dispatched, and nearly 1,200 young people actively joined the army and rushed to the front line.
