It is the capital of Concepcion province, located in Biobio district. Located in south-central Chile. The bio River passes by the city, and it is 0/0 km away from the estuary/kloc-in the west. The population is about 303,000. The average temperature in the hottest month is 20℃, the average temperature in Leng Yue (July) is 10℃, and the average annual precipitation is about 1000 mm. It is located at 10 km west of the coastal port city of Tal Cabano. Established on 1550. Damaged by earthquakes and tsunamis many times, the city moved to its present site on 1754. The surrounding areas are rich in agricultural products and water resources. Nearby coal mines account for more than 90% of the country and are one of the important industrial and commercial centers in the country. Agriculture is developed and it is the trade center of wine and grain. Industries include textiles, flour, leather making, glass, ceramics, sugar making, steel, paper making and oil refining. There is a railway to San Diego. There is the University of Concepcion. Tal Cabano, an outer port of northwest 13km, has an excellent harbor and is connected by railway.
