Xihe county tourist attractions
Longnan Xiangshan 1
Xiangshan is located at the junction of the south of Xihe County and Lixian County. The main peak is 2532 meters above sea level, which is the second highest peak in the county. Bordering Wudu District in the south, it runs across the east and west, with gentle terrain in the east and steep terrain in the west, which is lush and stretches for more than 60 kilometers. When you climb the Xiangshan Mountain, you can see it everywhere. The mountains are arched and the sea of clouds is boundless. The water of the Western Han Dynasty came quietly from the foot of the mountain. On the misty mountainside, Shangsi, Zhongsi and Sixia monasteries are scattered and arranged among evergreen trees in turn.
2. Sunset Lake
Sunset Lake Sunset Lake is located in Jiangxi Town, 5 kilometers west of Xihe County. As one of the top ten tourist attractions in Longnan, it belongs to the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, Jialing River, Western Han River and Jiangxi River, a tributary of Shui Yang. Water is called Jian 'an Water in Li Daoyuan's Notes on Water Classics. The storage capacity of Wanxiahu Reservoir is/kloc-0.35 million cubic meters, and the water area is/kloc-0.800 mu.
3. Mount Qiu Chi
Qiu Chi Mountain is located 50 kilometers south of Xihe County and south of Da Qiao Township, with an altitude of 1.793 m and a relative height of 79 1 m. The Western Han River flows from the northwest around the foot of the mountain to the south, and Luo Yu flows into the Western Han River from the southeast along the foot of the mountain. The two rivers meet at the foot of the mountain, forming a natural barrier resort surrounded by water on three sides and holding the mountain on one side. This is the birthplace of Fuxi, the ancestor of mankind, the place where ancestors were punished in myths and legends, the birthplace of local people and the homeland of the kingdom.
4. Minjun Mountain
Minjun Mountain is located in the south of Xihe County 1.5 km, commonly known as "Saye Hall", which is a famous Taoist temple in Longnan and even the whole province. Shui Yang River and Zhaowu River meet in front of the mountain and flow northward. In vast expanse, the peak is absolutely green and dark, and Sazhenren Temple stands at the top of the mountain. Minjun Mountain was originally named Dutouling, and was renamed Minjun Mountain in Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty.
5. Baique Temple
Baique Temple is located on the hill of Sitai Mountain in Guanyin Village, Xiyu Township, 2 kilometers away from Xihe County. The temple is built according to the mountain situation, with the left side protecting the cave, the right side surrounding the city and overlooking the mountain view. Baishui River, formed by the intersection of Xihe River and Nanliu River in front of the temple, winds eastward from the foot of the temple. There are pines and cypresses here in winter and green locust trees in summer. Baique Temple stands on the mountain overlooking the banks of Baishui River. Covering an area of 13936 square meters, about 20.6 mu, there are four courtyards, eight courtyards and twelve courtyards according to the ancient system, and the temple is now the seat of Xihe County Buddhist Association.
