Taihang Mountain branch is located in the northwest outside Beijing, at the foot of the mountain, more than 20 kilometers away from the Summer Palace, adjacent to Zhongguancun in Haidian and Shangdi information industry base. The town covers an area of 40.52 square kilometers, governs 10 administrative villages, and has a permanent population of nearly 30,000. Jingmi diversion canal runs through the town. Shayang Road, Wennan Road, Yiyang Road and Shasan Railway meet in the territory, and the Sixth Ring Road Expressway passes through the territory. Bus No.7, No.20, No.911and No.914 connect the urban area and all directions. The villages in the town are connected by asphalt roads, with smooth traffic and beautiful natural scenery, which provides a good environment for the economic and social development of the town.

In February of 20001year, Yangfang Town was identified by the municipal government as one of the 33 suburban central towns and became the focus of small town construction.

China Tank Museum

China Tank Museum, located in Yangfang Town, Changping County, northwest suburb of Beijing, was formerly the People's Armored Forces Exhibition Hall. 1990 officially completed the August 1st Army Day, 1997 renamed the Tank Museum, and 1998 officially opened to the public.
