Anju Ancient Town is one of the 20 famous historical and cultural towns approved by Chongqing Municipality. In 2008, it was named the fourth batch of famous historical and cultural towns in China. It is a national AAAA tourist attraction. Located in Anju Town, Tongliang District, Chongqing, it is named after Da 'anxi (Qiongjiang River), which means to live and work in peace.
