Day 1: Departing at 7 a.m., one-day trip to Hangzhou

The Beisi Pagoda was originally built by Sun Quan in the Chiwu Period of the Three Kingdoms (238-251) to repay his mother's kindness. It is on the front of the Beisi Pagoda archway at the entrance. There are four characters: "Repay kindness". The thick stone archway carries the vicissitudes of history and the gratitude of filial son Sun Quan to his mother. Panmen is located in the southwest corner of Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It is the only existing water and land gate in China and is one of the symbols of the ancient city of Suzhou. There is a saying that "Look at the majesty of the Great Wall in the north and the beauty of Panmen in the south"; then join the Gusu River Cruise in the afternoon to visit Hanshan Temple. According to legend, Han Shanzi was the abbot here during the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty, so it was renamed Hanshan Temple. Zhang Ji, a poet of the Tang Dynasty, passed by Hanshan Temple and wrote the poem "Night Mooring on the Maple Bridge" full of travel worries. Hanshan Temple has become famous through the ages; visit Tang Yin Garden, the former residence of Tang Bohu, the four great talents in the south of the Yangtze River (listen to the story of Tang Bohu lighting autumn fragrance) ;Visit Tiger Hill, the Humble Administrator's Garden, the first scenic spot in Wuzhong with a long history of more than 2,500 years. Return at about 5pm.
