Pianyi Park Environmental Survey and Analysis Report
Foreword
Qiandeng Lake is a large comprehensive park on the central axis of the city, located in Nanhai District, Foshan City. The park was planned by an overseas company. When it was first built, its form, construction methods, and design concepts were very refreshing. There have also been some controversies over these similarities and differences, which have been praised by some people and criticized by others. At present, the park has been put into use for more than 3 years. How is its actual use effect? ??What are the advantages and disadvantages in actual use? This article focuses on field surveys of users of Qiandeng Lake Park, and analyzes and studies based on the survey results to draw some conclusions Conclusion, I hope these conclusions will have certain reference significance for the design and construction of large green spaces.
1. Overview
Qiandeng Lake Park (Figure 1) is located in the center of the master plan of Nanhai Central City, between Nanqi Road, Nanba Road, Haisan Road and Haisan Road. In the open space of the central axis formed by eight roads. It is a large comprehensive park on the central axis of the city. It is more than 3km long and about 260m wide, covering an area of ??about 70hm2, of which the lake area is about 19hm2. The overall spatial framework of Qiandeng Lake is derived from "digging lakes and building mountains". A wide lake with a length of 3km is formed in the middle, and is surrounded by mountains with a height of 4-5m.
Green space: Most plants are concentrated in natural, multi-level tree planting on the mountain. Combined with the waterfall configuration, the waterside plants are different from other areas. They are dense and lush, full of wild charm of gurgling water; several accessible small islands located near the southern entrance of Qiandeng Lake are planted in a natural way, with dense shrubs and or Scattered or gathered plastic stones add a lot of interest.
Public activity space: mainly bunkers, commercial buildings, management rooms, etc. that are integrated with the surrounding mountains by the walking trails around the lake, as well as various nodes such as the maze small square, the plastic stone valley, and the citizen square. , corresponding partially expanded rest spaces, corridors, etc. along the trail are connected and organized into an orderly and varied public activity space; secondly, a garden path is arranged along the top of the mountain to connect and organize some viewing platforms and nodes. On the platforms and nodes Structures such as corridors and lighthouses are arranged, which not only enrich and define the node space, but also form landmarks to control and organize the landscape space of the entire park.
Traffic space: The entire park has 8 entrances and exits leading to the city's main roads. It is completely open. Only the entrance to the Civic Square has an independent parking space. The opening of the entrance is not only the opening of space, but also the real opening of psychological feelings. Several intersections where the park intersects with city arterial roads form an integrated design with the park.
Visual cultural space: including visual scenery, skyline, historical and cultural factors, etc. The entire park is enclosed by the mountain, blocking the noise and exhaust gas of urban traffic, creating a natural open space with basically no line of sight interference; the height difference of the mountain is combined with the tree group vegetation on the mountain and structures such as lighthouses and corridors. , resulting in an undulating skyline; various landscape spaces overlap each other and are distributed in an orderly manner, creating contrasting views and complementing each other. The tourist trail follows the curved and smooth waterfront. Due to the slope of the mountain and the curved edge of the mountain, it leads people to different scenery. Landscape highlights emerge in endlessly behind the silhouette of the mountain; architectural sketches, ramps, railings, etc. The use of a unified design language, such as the combination of rough stone and red sandstone, a unified color system and detailed features, increases visual retention, highlights the characteristics and impression of the landscape space, and forms a specific basic mood of the landscape space.
Regarding the reflection of historical and cultural factors, Qiandeng Lake Park mainly provides people with a comfortable and healthy place for external leisure and recreation, focusing on a good ecological environment, comfort of use, and coordinated and beautiful landscape effects. .
2. Plant space types and plant material selection in Qiandeng Lake Park

Part 2 Park Environment Survey and Analysis Report
1. Survey Background
Culture is a category with rich connotations. Generally speaking, culture in a broad sense refers to the sum of material wealth and spiritual wealth created by human beings in the process of transforming nature and transforming society. Culture in the narrow sense refers to the ideological form, juxtaposed with economy and politics, concerning the ideological theory, moral customs, literature and art, education and science of human social life. In contemporary China, the ultimate goal of developing advanced culture and building socialist culture with Chinese characteristics is to meet the people's growing spiritual and cultural needs.
As a part of the construction of spiritual civilization, park culture plays a role in creating a cultural atmosphere for citizens, improving the cultural level of the people, and guiding the people’s cultural choices that cannot be ignored.
Nowadays, with the improvement of urban ecological environment and people's economic life, urban parks across the country have also put forward higher requirements in terms of quantity and quality. The park is no longer a place purely for physical exercise. It is also an important place for people to rest, socialize, have cultural entertainment, and even obtain information. Since 20xx, many parks have been open to people free of charge. The purpose is to allow more people to truly experience the park culture with various characteristics, thereby subtly improving people's spiritual culture, enriching people's spiritual world, and strengthening people. The spiritual power ultimately promotes the all-round development of human beings.
2. Survey Overview
In order to explore the connotation of park culture, deeply study the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and strengthen the relationship between theory and practice, our group conducted a survey on May 26, 20xx Focus on visiting some scenic spots in the Yuexiu Park’s popular science area, cultural heritage tourist area, youth and children’s activity area, and sports and entertainment area, investigate the effectiveness of the park’s cultural and sports venues, and feel the cultural atmosphere of the park, so as to further explore the connotation of park culture.
Yuexiu Park is a unique public park full of ecological atmosphere and Lingnan style. As a comprehensive cultural leisure park in Guangzhou, Yuexiu Park was first proposed by Dr. Sun Yat-sen. After expansion after liberation, it has received many party and state leaders such as Chairman Mao and Zhou Enlai for sightseeing and swimming.
During the visit to Yuexiu Park, our group mainly inspected the hard environment and soft environment of the park.
The hard environment of the park refers to the scenic spots and the facilities of the scenic spots. This time our group visited five scenic spots including the Guangzhou Art Museum, the Spherical Water Tower, the Shade Plant Area, the Flower Museum, and the Jinyuan (fish viewing area) in the Science Park of Yuexiu Park, as well as the Wuyang Stone Sculpture Spot in the Cultural Heritage Tourist Area. There are two attractions including the Idiom Fable Garden and the Jinyin Playground in the youth and children's activity area, and three attractions including the Liyutou Cultural and Sports Entertainment Area, Yuexiu Mountain Stadium and Yuexiu Swimming Pool in the sports and entertainment area.
The Guangzhou Art Museum is one of the national painting collection units. It displays fine art works by famous calligraphers and painters of all dynasties. The spherical water tower was once a landmark building in Guangzhou and the only remaining one of the four water towers built before the liberation of Guangzhou. It has aroused the interest of countless tourists with its steel spherical shape. The shade plant area and flower hall have a wide variety of shade plants and rare and exotic flowers, as well as calligraphy and painting exhibitions. Jinyuan (fish viewing area) is one of the scenic spots with the largest scale and largest variety of naturally stocked koi in Guangdong Province. There are also large fish ponds and jun fish ponds in the park for children to play and play. The Five Rams Stone Sculpture is a famous cultural relic. The legend about the "Five Rams" is also the origin of Guangzhou's nicknames "Yangcheng" and "Suicheng". The Idiom Fable Garden and Jinyin Playground are good places for children to play and learn. As for Liyuutou Sports and Entertainment Zone, Yuexiu Mountain Stadium and Yuexiu Swimming Ground, there are complete sports venues, including swimming pools, table tennis halls, basketball courts, open-air dance halls, bowling greens, etc. These scenic spots are informative, interesting, participatory and ornamental, rich in cultural atmosphere, and provide convenient services for the cultural welfare and life leisure of the broad masses of people.
The soft environment of the park refers to services and management, as well as mass cultural and sports activities. During the visit to the park, our group observed that the lawns in Yuexiu Park were neatly trimmed, and there were chairs and stone benches by the water for resting and enjoying the scenery. Moreover, the garden gate has a zone map for browsing the whole garden and an introduction to the garden. The garden is equipped with unique peel waste bins, eye-catching guide signs, and trees are listed to facilitate visitors' identification and appreciation. Visitors in the park generally abide by the park rules consciously, and there are very few behaviors such as spitting, littering, damaging flowers and trees, and damaging public facilities. High-quality service and management reflect the park culture's commitment to cultivating citizens' social morality and spiritual beauty, and are conducive to promoting the construction of socialist spiritual civilization. In addition, mass cultural and sports activities not only relax citizens physically and mentally, but also allow them to further understand park culture and improve their own cultural literacy. When you walk into Yuexiu Park, you can see a variety of colorful activities.
Different groups of people have different pastimes. The elderly sing, dance, play badminton, and shuttlecock. Young people visit cultural monuments and feel the cultural atmosphere of the park. There are also singing groups, dancing groups, Tai Chi teams, and sword practice. A collective activity conducted by a team. The park has truly created a cultural atmosphere for citizens, improved the cultural level of the people, is close to reality, life, and the masses, and developed a park culture that enjoys the enjoyment of the people. This is worthy of celebration.
The hard environment and soft environment of the park reflect the connotation of park culture in different aspects and promote the development of park culture. In practice, integrating the hard environment and soft environment is more conducive to the development of park culture. Now I will briefly analyze the Idiom and Fable Garden of Yuexiu Park. The Idiom and Fable Garden expresses the essence of Chinese culture through sculptures, which is clear and easy to understand and has great educational significance. Many parents and students use this ready-made "homework" to study and communicate. Entertainment and learning are integrated without realizing it, which undoubtedly activates and enriches citizen culture. Of course, this is due to the reasonable design of the Idiom Fable Garden, which combines the hard environment with the soft environment. This can be said to be a successful example of building a park culture. On the other hand, it is understandable that park culture is developing in a diversified way to meet people's leisure and entertainment needs. However, it must be integrated with the hard environment of the park. Only in this way can it easily gain the recognition of public opinion and make the park's profound culture means to be promoted.
3. Survey Summary
Through this social practice, our team members deeply realized that building park culture is part of developing advanced culture, and each of us has the responsibility to promote park culture. Prosper and strive to ensure that the results of excellent cultural development are enjoyed by the people, meet the people's growing spiritual and cultural needs, adhere to the principle of being close to reality, life, and the people, constantly promote cultural innovation, and adhere to the implementation of socialist cultural construction with Chinese characteristics. The basic policy is to continuously promote the construction of harmonious culture and enhance the vitality of cultural development, so as to achieve the great development and prosperity of socialist culture.
Chapter 3 Park Environment Investigation and Analysis Report
1. Overview of Greentown Plaza
Greentown Plaza is the central square of Zhengzhou City and a landmark building in the western suburbs of Zhengzhou One is the finishing touch of Greentown Zhengzhou. It is a large and fully functional rest and entertainment square in Zhengzhou City. Greentown Plaza was built in 1986 and opened to the public in May 1987, with a planned area of ??nearly 9 hectares. The square is located at the intersection of two main urban roads, Zhongyuan Road and Songshan Road, with the municipal party committee and government to the west, enjoying a strategic location. There are musical fountains, viewing platforms, sculptures and other facilities in the square. Coupled with a large area of ??green lawn, flowering shrubs, flowers in three seasons, evergreen all year round, and a pleasant environment, it is an important place for the people of our city to carry out cultural, gathering and entertainment activities.
2. Spatial combination and organization
The spatial organization is organized around the east-west main axis and the north-south axis of the square, pursuing from east to west from real space to virtual space, from sinking space to convex space. It transforms the space and forms a spatial change pattern of depression and elevation, expansion and relaxation, expansion and contraction. While strengthening the sense of axis sequence, the square space also pays attention to the creation of small, semi-open and open spaces to enrich the spatial composition of the square. The plan uses a combination of vegetation separation, paving definition, and height differences to divide the square space into six small activity spaces with different functional characteristics, and organize them in series through the internal roads of the square, so that the square spaces integrate and penetrate each other to form organically connected whole. At the same time, the plan uses urban design techniques to put forward specific requirements for the spatial layout of the buildings around the square to ensure a unified and orderly organization of the spatial landscape in the square area.
Greentown Plaza is an enclosed square with various forms of space division and organization of secondary spaces, such as sunken spaces, point spaces, block spaces, etc. The main division of the square space is that the bottom surface divides the square into several spaces through differences in height or paving. Greentown Plaza also uses the arrangement of sunken spaces, paving materials, and patterns to divide the space. There are multiple sunken spaces in Greentown Plaza, among which a large oval sunken space is the main space and plays a leading role. This is an oval roller skating rink, which can also be used as a place for people to gather and hold public events. The steps on the edge of the roller skating rink provide a place for people to rest. The entire sunken space is the place where people gather most intensively. The secondary space of Greentown Plaza is mainly dotted and block-shaped. The dot-shaped space is generally composed of plants (such as plant facade shapes, branches and leaves covering, etc.), fountains, pools, etc., while the block-shaped space is composed of paving, lawn, etc.
3. Land composition
The square land is divided into pavement sites, green land, passages, and ancillary building land according to its use function and appearance characteristics. The paving area of ??Greentown Plaza is relatively simple and large in area. There are oval paving area, square paving area and irregular-shaped paving area. It is a place with concentrated flow of people.
The green land of Greentown Plaza consists of lawns, water surfaces, flowers, trees, shrubs, etc., which have the functions of blocking, dividing, connecting, and guiding.
For example, planting small pieces of trees in a large lawn can divide the space and block the line of sight. The lawn is not completely visible to people at once, but gradually expands the space as people walk, which not only plays the role of embellishment of the large space. It also attracts people to enter deeper; and the solitary trees in the large lawn, with their unique shapes, attract people to gradually approach it, playing a guiding role. The green space in the square includes accessible green space and enclosed green space. The enclosed green space meets people's needs for viewing from a distance, while the accessible green space meets people's needs for close contact with nature.
4. The paving and materials of the square
The degree of surprise and sophistication in the paving treatment directly affects the overall landscape effect of the square. In modern environmental design, the appearance, color and texture of paving need to be changed to reflect the difference in its function, such as guiding walking routes or encouraging people to stay. The more important the location, the more delicate its treatment needs to be.
In the design of Greentown Plaza, the color of the ground and the overall environment are unified and changed. A large area is laid with gray ceramic tiles. The different colors of cold, warm, light and dark materials form a ground form with rich rhythm.
The paving and materials of the square are mainly used to divide the functions of the square and guide citizens. The pavement changes of the square, the greening and the height difference on the ground divide it into spaces with different functions and separate the square from the sidewalk, but at the same time, it will not visually and functionally hinder people's access to the square.
5. Plant design
In the square design, the introduction of natural environment is used. Such as trees, flowers, lawns, and animals, the clever combination achieves the effect of softening the space.
Greentown Plaza is planted with large trees and large-area water features. In order to bring more green to the square, we generally use the method of arranging trees, flowers and grass in local areas to form different forms of greening systems. Together with the tree pond, the flower pot enriches the spatial landscape and softens the coldness brought by the large amount of hard floor paving.
A large number of hedges are used on the edge of the square, followed by a large green belt. This not only provides a beautiful green background for the square, but also has a good isolation effect on the surrounding noise. People create a comfortable environment.
6. Conclusion
Through this survey, we understand that the city square is an important part of citizens’ living space. It is not a painting placed in the city for people to admire. It must be integrated into the lives of citizens, so the design of the square should appeal to humanity and fairness. The success of Greentown Plaza is that it well combines the functions of the square with local art and culture, creating a beautiful environment for citizens The comfortable entertainment and leisure square provides citizens in the busy city with a peaceful and pure place.
