Southern Tibet is located in the southern side of the Himalayas, Shannan region and Linzhi region of China people and southeast Xizang Autonomous Region, including most of the four counties of Cuona, Zi Long, Medog and Chayu in Xizang Autonomous Region, and a small amount of land in Langxian and Milin counties.
How big is southern Tibet? The saying "about 93,000 square kilometers" has been circulating for a long time. In fact, according to the scientific projection area, the actual area of southern Tibet should be more than 63,000 square kilometers. At present, southern Tibet is almost controlled by India.
